Following their encounter with Kamen Rider Sonnet and Avon, the Hathaway Foundation only had to wait, thanks to their clockwork keeping tabs ever since landing one on Sonnet.
So, Yuki was taking time off, and trying to get Sakura to join her. She genuinely enjoyed Sakura's company and hoped to learn more about her past, and about why she was the way she was. She just hoped Sakura would join her on this time off.

Sakura wouldn't actually have come if it wasn't for Dr. Johnson pulling rank and telling her to go with Yuki. She didn't really want to do ... whatever it was with Yuki, Donovan just thought she should go and enjoy herself.

Oh crap. Now she needed to think of something to do!
"I ... wanted ..." She skimmed the shops for a little before settling on a poster about monster attacks "a Japan ... I mean book ... I wanted two books ..."
~Okay, I'm showing off I'll admit. The kanji for "Japan" is read as "Nihon". "Ni" is Japanese for two and "Hon" is Japanese for book. Grammatically that's probably incorrect though.~ Cross

"Well ... yes, yes because Dr. Johnson says I should go there one day," That one wasn't actually a lie, Donovan had told her she should go more often and so far all she could say in English was:
"Hello" and "My name is Sakura,"
