This is just a TEASER thread. Whoever wants to participate in the Apocalypse please answer so we can understand your motivations and reasons for going to London. There will be three TV reports in all, you may respond as you wish when you wish. Feel free to participate in a group discussion in front of the TV, in a bar, or listening to the radio.
The world wide report appears as an extra segment after the announcement of the current Tsunami warnings in Japan.
"Recent reports of people disappearing are leaving the police baffled. Over 60 people have disappeared in the London area. As far as anyone can tell the only connection between all the victims is they rode the same subway car, 03ATH. Each one disappearing under three hours after their arrival."
The camera switches to an underground platform covered with police officers taking a subway car apart, piece by piece.
"According to the newly appointed police spokesman, Sir Peter Mantis, has assured the public the passengers of car 03ATH, now being called the Hell Train, will be found."
Camera switches to another picture of a Underground ticket booth.
"The London subway system has be declared free of charge to the entire public until all the passengers are found. This Katja Kassin, reporting live for CNN outside Piccadilly subway entrance."

Marcel, or rather, the demon possessing him, walked by a television screen at a shop. He saw the news report.
"Interesting." He said, heading that way to quell his boredom.
(Basically, he's going to be involved because he's there and bored)

Back in Wild Space Corp. HQ:
"Commander Clive, people are disappearing from London, do you think it's Azrael?" Gibbs asked.
"I don't know Gibbs," Clive said, "but I intend to find out."
"Hell Train?" McGarrett whispered, "sounds ominous."
"Do we know anything about this Sir Peter Mantis guy?" Tony asked.
"Nope," Clive remarked, "not a thing about him, we didn't even know he existed until he built that Hell Train."
"Whatever it is, we need to find those missing passengers and find the people responsible" Kono stated.
"Agreed, Patriot you're with me" Clive ordered prompting a 'Yes Sir!' from all Patriot members, "let's get these people home."
"I have a bad feeling about this Commander" Tim said.
"Don't we all" Clive remarked as they exited HQ and on to London.

Post by Arthur Ingram on Apr 17, 2011 22:21:28 GMT
Arthur looked around Heathrow arrivals. It was good to be home, except this news report was troubling him, he didn't really like Mantis. He seemed creepy, but that wasn't the only thing, there was something about the disappearances too. That wasn't what was supposed to happen, that many people didn't just disappear from a train. Arthur looked up and clicked his tongue. Something wasn't right, and he had this terrible feeling he was going to find out what ...

Ren had come with Arthur, and was currently by his side. He also felt that something had to be off about this many people vanishing like this.

Arthur looked at his mentor. "You feel it too?" He asked "That sort of ... cold dread?"

Zack sent a message to Clive which read," Clive I know you are already on your way there but i feel i might as well tell you there is something very wrong going on there i want you to contact all the teams currently station there especially Captain Hayate as he will start using the henshin device we talked about earlier at the meeting.... god speed Clive, good luck and make sure you bring your guys and yourself back home."
(OCC: yeah so mostly Hayate will be there. Zack will only do one or two trends to address the world on wild corp and the big fight thats it.)

Post by Clive Edingburgh on Apr 18, 2011 21:55:48 GMT
Clive got the message while he and Patriot were on the plane en route to London, he read it and chuckled, “Roger Commander” he muttered.
“What is it?” Tony asked.
“Nothing, Commander DeRagon wants me to contact all our forces in London and have them on maximum standby including Hayate” Clive replied.
“Hayate…” Daniel said as he tried to remember who Hayate was, “Hayate….Hayate…”
“He’s the guy who got the new Orga Suit right?” McGarrett said finishing Daniel’s thought.
“Yep, he’s the one.”
“Do you think he’s ready for this?” Gibbs asked.
“Don’t know lets ask him,” Clive said then tapped the ground with his cane and several portals appeared linking him directly to all base commanders in the area including Hayate. They all saluted and awaited their orders, “As you may have heard gentlemen there has been a series of disappearances in London, now I’m not sure if it’s Azrael or some other faction/organisation but I intend to find out along with Patriot, now we may find nothing but me, Patriot and now Commander DeRagon have a bad feeling that something’s going to happen. I want all sections to be on full alert, bring out whatever heavy guns you can get your hands on and prepare for the worst especially you Hayate since you’ve got the new Orga suit. Is this understood?”
After a resounding ‘Yes Sir!’ he closed the portal, “Hayate has aced all his tests and simulations to date” he said to Gibbs though it was more of an excuse.
“Simulations and tests don’t count for the real thing” Gibbs simply said.
Clive looked at him, “Is that speaking from personal experience?”
Gibbs only chuckled and they made their way to London with a feeling of apprehension.

Alan sat flipping through channels as he sees the report. He makes a mental note of the events and to check up on them later in case Wild Corp decides to cut them out of the loop. Until he has some proof of demonic or angelic involvement he's not going to say anything to anyone.
***
Bishop Ryan Alexander reads the report in a newspaper and calls for an aide. "Contact me the Bishop of London, I think I shall make a visit to pay my respects to him and his congergation."

The second report appears four days later. Its flagged as an official government statement and a priority one in the global.
The report is done by the same reporter in front of Mansion House in London.
"Since the recent shut down of its Underground transportation London has been hit with yet another crisis. A strange new violent strain of the flu has spread throughout the city causing unrest. Entire neighborhoods have been quarantined due to extreme outbreaks.
"While the virus itself is unidentifiable its symptoms are quite easy to spot. Sunken eyes, tiredness, pale complexion, and some extreme cases rot and death.
"As of today the Lord Mayor has declared Martial Law. The first time to ever be declared ever in England history. Her Majesty's forces were deployed throughout the city keeping its residents within their homes."
The camera cuts to troops patrolling streets. Than several people being arrested with a voice over.
"Several hundred people have been arrested for protesting and violating curfew."
The camera returns to Katja still in front of Mansion House.
"Reports are also streaming in of entire streets blocked do to its inhabitants being infected beyond help. The residents inside these blocked streets have become violent and several military units have been lost fighting these violent citizens. Since the his declaration of Martial Law, the Lord Mayor has left Mansion House to personally talk with the Royal family about the next steps to be taken. His office has assured the public everything that can be done is being done.
"This Katja Kassin reporting for live for CNN in front of Mansion House."

~To save you reading the profile, Jennifer's a double agent whose reall loyalties lie with the Hellfire club~ Cross
Jennifer Banquo sat in the small cafe watching the news report, it was good to see that Mantis's plan was going at full speed. It was less nice to find out that whatever had been afflicting Tybalt these last few weeks was just a cold and not the virus spreading throughout England. She'd find somewhere to hole up in a few weeks.

"Look guys, I don't like this." Elizabeth informed the WILD Fighter Corps. SHe shuddered suddenly. "Will you stop doing that?" She retorted quickly to Jacob, sharpening his knives with his other knives.
"The whole team's to go over there. Use what you can to help them out. If anything else happens... I'll tell you later."

Kizuna was panting as he ducked into the small compartment. The martial arrest was making things hard for him... He held up the loaf of bread he had stolen and groaned.
He might as well just storm the troops and get over with it.

Post by Kevin Williams on Apr 20, 2011 22:06:38 GMT
Kevin slid his bike into a drift around the deserted street corner. Behind him the howling Londoners ran after him in a mass of rotting flesh and putrid odors.
Well that was a bad plan.
He stood up on one leg and kicked the head of the lone zombie running towards him. It had been only minutes ago that he had jumped the barricades to inspect the 'infected' areas for himself. The local police had been hard lately - food rationing, curfews, and mass arrest had made the uninfected populous even more uncooperative. Rioting and burning had become common sights.
The thing that bothered Kevin the most was the rate all of this had accelerated. The atmosphere had been heated lately since the whole 'Hell Train' affair. The public had gone from worried to insane at an alarming speed. Sir Mantis had assured everyone he would calm the residents but everything he said had done the opposite.
Kevin drove his cycle up the back of a ruined truck and jumped the barricade on the other end of the street. He swerved to dodge the shots of from the patrol guarding the barricade.
Now let's find Cross....
