Right As Rain [K.W. Cross]

[Nakida Sassu]

Nakida stepped out of the shower, singing her head off happily. She quickly towelled herself off, wrapped a smaller one over her head, tightened a bathrobe around her and escaped the steamy enclosure. She stepped out of the en-suite bathroom and into the bedroom before going to her wardrobe, fishing around for her underwear. Having found some she tugged off the soft robe and noticed a small fold of fabric hanging out from a drawer. She tugged open the drawer and noticed her favourite shirt, crinkled. Sighing, she fished around for another shirt.

Kenneth was leaning over the balcony watching the rain drop off of the top and down to the ground below. Why did so many people hate rain?

Nakida, dressed with the exception of her feet and bottom walked over and rapped on the glass sliding door, trying to get Cross' attention.

"Your hair's going to get wet." She mouthed to him.

Cross looked behind him and grinned back at her. He pulled the door aside and stepped inside.
"I would hug you but ... yeah, I'm wet," He explained.

He paused for a second and then hugged her anyway.

Nakida smiled and squeezed him, not minding his wet hair.

"I'm kinda glad you don't have work today." She said into his shoulder.

Kyle smirked.
"Why's that then?" He asked, kissing her on the forehead.

[Nakida Sassu]

"Because of you." She smiled. "I know you still might have to be called on, but..."

Kenji smiled and ran a hand up her back.
"So, wanna go out tonight?" He asked.

[Nakida Sassu]

"Sure." Nakida replied happily. "You want something to eat?" She asked him.

"What have we got?" He asked.

[Nakida Sassu]

Nakida thought for a moment. "We have some crab, we should have some ramen left... Kaa Re (Korean Style curry)... Instant Shio noodles... And... We should have some dumplings in the freezer." She listed.

"Oh, and some mince pies and meat." She added, remembering the second cupboard she had to store the more western foods.

"How long have they been there?" Kyle laughed "It was Christmas months ago,"

He stopped laughing and just smiled softly "Noodles, dumplings, shio, and we have ... something vaguely edible," He looked outside "I'll go shopping when it brightens up,"

"How about we have lunch and then go now?" She suggested.

[K.W Cross]

"Yeah ... that sounds good," Cross agreed, his lips curled into a small smirk and his hands ran down to her legs "You should probably get dressed though,"

[Nakida Sassu]

Nakida giggled before wrapping a leg around him. "I should, shouldn't I?" She said coyly before walking over to her wardrobe.

"Which one?" She asked, pulling out a denim miniskirt, a knee-length navy skirt and a pair of skinny jeans.
