Sunnydale was sunny today. As always. That was why they called it "Sunnydale".
Or perhaps they were dry for ideas. Xander thought as he strolled casually to the gates of Sunnydale high school.
Another average school day, with NOTHING PARANORMAL HAPPENING AT ALL!

Jack sat outside a library reading from a newspaper. His Ven Brace's watch face was basically sparkling red and green lights. While it would be the perfect Christmas decoration, that's not what it was trying to do. The fact that it was flashing every five seconds told Jack that SlyerGreen was somewhere in this city. But as for where or how he would tell Jack didn't know.

Xander walked straight past the library, and more importantly, straight past Jack, not noticing anything out of the ordinary.

As Xander walked past Jack, the flashing lights on the Ven Brace turned uniformly green and flashed much faster. Jack looked down at the watch in confusion. He wasn't entirely sure what this meant until a green arrow appeared.
"Lets find out if the grass is greener" Jack said, standing up following the arrow. He still didn't see Xander.

Out of the blue, or rather, green, Xander stopped. He'd just found his classroom.

Jack noted that the arrow was pointing inside of a school building. This meant a few things. The first was that the future SlayerGreen was inside. But schools could have upwards of a thousand students. And second he couldn't just stroll into a high school.
"This will be interesting" Jack said, formulating a plan.

In Xander's classroom, unbeknownst to him, one of the students gained stainglass tattoos across her face.

Xander took no notice of the student with apparent facial tatoos, and paid attention to the teacher.
"I'm glad that you all studied for this test..." the teacher droned.
"People studied?" Xander muttered to himself. "Was I supposed to study? Ms Murray is kinda hot."

Jack was getting annoyed. There was no hope of just strolling inside of the school.
"Maybe I should wait till the day ends" he speculated until his Ven Brace began to beep heavily. A red outline appeared around the green arrow. A monster was inside of the school. And it was mad. "****!"
Jack looked around to see an open air vent hidden underneath a tarp. He sneaked upto the vent and climbed in.

Jack crawled through the vents, muttering to himself the entire time. "Teleporting can wait, learn how to duplicate first. Fat lot of good that's done" Jack said annoyed. The compass needle spun in all directions, telling Jack that he was here. He looked down to see that there was a full classroom and a teacher inside.
Suddenly, the student next to Xander fell over. He turned completely transparent, completely dead.

Xander paid no heed, until the person in front of the victim screamed. Then others screamed too. Xander didn't. "He's just a little pale is...ohhhh."

The female student from earlier chuckled as, one after the other, the two fell over. The teacher turned around in anger, looking at the female student.
"What is the meaning of this" the teacher asked. In return the female student transformed into the Cat Fangire. Her fangs, visible only if you paid enough attention, stabbed into the teachers neck. She turned crystal clear and fell over dead.
Jack was prepared to transform. But he couldn't get his hand to his Ven Brace.
"Just a little closer..."

A green glow appeared in the room, surrounding a small object. Jack's sunglasses helped him see it. The green Ven Brace! Jack managed to cut the back of his left hand by angling the blade against the same arm's hand. Jack stomped down on the air vent and jumped down, the liquid energy already covering his body. He stood up on top of a desk and stared down the Fangire.
"How about I add a few bloodstains to that glass" Jack asked, leaping at the Fangire. All the while the glowing watch face flew towards Xander, hovering next to him.

Xander turned and spotted the green watch face. "Oh no, I'm dreaming, aren't I?"
