"Considering that I'm the only one that can see or hear him it makes for awkward moments whenever I'm in public and tell him to calm down. He's useful in fighting monsters, that's all that matters." Mamoru said starting clench tightly onto the cup. "I hate them."

"My girlfriend died to a monster. It came out of no where, we had been coming back from our date and it attacked suddenly. It knocked me away from her and then..." Mamoru trailed off staring at the tabletop, "...He gave me the deck." he said changing the topic looking toward Dragblacker, "I can tell he only wants to become stronger and I worry about the day that he gets tired of me then decides to off me."

"It must be hell" Alex said. "I remember my exploits as a Kamen Rider... barely. I was a part of a special squadron. Each of us were given fake systems. They were all kinda sorta based on the Kiva systems. SHIELD told us they were safe. They weren't. They revolted, mine as I was being attacked." Alex cringed reliving the pain. She tapped her right eye. "Right here. Took so much to be able to see at all from it."

"I'm sorry." Mamoru said feeling bad for bringing this up, "I didn't mean for you to have to be reminded of something like that." Mamoru removed his Advent deck from his pocket and set it onto the counter top, "Here it is. This little hunk of metal that's caused people grief."

Alex smiled and shrugged. "No its alright. I've made my peace with the past." However, when Mamoru pulled out his deck her eyes were instantly transfixed on it. "That little thing caused it all?"

Alex didn't know how to respond to that. "Don't know what to say to that." Her powers didn't have the risk of killing her. They were actually pretty safe unless she did something stupid.

"I didn't expect you to. I'm actually fine with it as long as I can help as many people as I can, I'm only concerned about what he'll do once I'm gone. If he'll start killing people or continue killing monsters since all he cares about is being the most powerful monster." Mamoru reassured, "I'll be right back, just going to get myself some water. All this talking is great but is making me thirsty." Mamoru told her before getting up to go get himself a bottle of water.
