Metalgelas picked Hayate up by the neck. Ryouko approached and reached for the Memory in his belt.

When Metalgelas had picked Hayate up, he kept one hand behind his back. And as Ryouko reached for his Memory. He revealed what he had in his hand: The Infinite Magnum. He let loose four shots.

At point blank, Ryouko did not have time to dodge. She fell back onto the ground. Sparks flew from her armour. Metalgelas then reacted by throwing Hayate away. It moved to cover Ryouko as she staggered to her feet.

"Yep. And..." Hayate ejected the Memory and removed the Driver, changing back to normal. He put them back in his pocket, and reached into his other pocket.

Ryouko dismissed Metalgelas as she stood. She switched her deck case. This turned her back to Ouja form. She stretched out her neck. Her scepter rested on her shoulder.
'What else? You have more items to offer me?'

She picked out a new card and showed it. Then slotted it in her scepter.
'Now, have a guess at what happened to the last three starngers I met carrying those decks.'

The huge combined beast Genocider appeared. Ryouko sent it to attack Hayate quickly.

Asakura stayed back and let Genocider attack. It stabbed at Hayate with its horn, moving its snake-like neck with great speed.
'The option's still open. Hand over that deck and I'll call it off. But I doubt you'll do that. Anyone who's the type to give over that easily didn't deserve the cards in the first place, right?
