"Well ... I ..." Suzie sneezed, interrupting her statement "Ohhhh, I can't argue with a cold,"
She pouted and then wandered back into the living room, flopping onto the sofa before looking up at Kakeru. "High," She croaked.

Karazu put her hands on Suzie's shoulder, rubbing them as she sat down. "A herbal remedy may work best," she told Kakeru.

Kakeru nodded in compliance, before confirming it. "Herbal. Got it. Be back in a jiff." He said, giving an odd wave/salute mix as he stepped out the door, walking towards Lady Luck. He knew that the head of Black Fang's Japan Branch was an herbalist, so he decided to see if he had anything for colds.

"Huh ... where's he off to?" Suzie asked through a blocked nose.

"Getting you some medicine... And probably enough for me as well," she said.

Hopping on his bike, Kakeru rode off into town, trying to remember the location of the Japan Branch that he had visited just days ago. "I think it was by Tokyo Tower..." After about fifteen minutes of searching, he'd finally found his destination, walking in and flashing his badge of office, entering a hidden elevator behind the security desk. At the tenth floor, he stepped out, walking up to the branch head. "Yo. Got any herbal remedies for a cold?" He said quite plainly.
((I'll continue this in the next post.))

The branch head laughed, his frizzy hair shaking as his head moved. "Kakeru, kid, what don' I have a remedy for? Lucky fer you, I jus' made a fresh batch yesterday, so gimme a sec ta go fetch it fer ya." His accent was thick, obviously where Kakeru copied his fake from, and his pale brown eyes didn't catch much light. He didn't seem the type to be in charge, but it was apparent that his subordinates respected him, as did Kakeru. After a few minutes of waiting, the branch head returned, carrying a traditionally shaped vial, a bulbous body with a long narrow neck, filled with a sanguine liquid. "This should work fine, as long as the one drinking it doesn't know what's in it." He chuckled, as Kakeru responded. "Well, I'm not drinking it. What's in it?" The branch head laughed, and gave Kakeru a look. "If I told you, you'd tell the drinker. So for now, it's a secret." He cackled, a slightly mad-sciencey tone to it. "Oh, and it's completely natural. No chemicals or artificial ingredients. And no garlic this time, either."

Suzie was snuggled back under the blankets again, yawning.

And Karazu was with her, arms wrapped around Suzie's waist.

"He asked me for a place to stay, and I couldn't just say no to the guy," she said. "He looked like he'd been wandering for a while.

Kakeru had a good feeling garlic was the least strange thing in this brew, but he knew that, regardless of the squick involved, the man's medicines were indeed potent and effective. So, sighing, he thanked the man, and quickly made his way out of the building, before mounting Lady Luck and making his way back to the house, having already memorized and mapped the location in his head.
