That was the point where Jack had an amazing idea ... amazing for him anyway. He held up his wrists shouted "Brigade Change!" and pushed the morph button.
A green shield shot out in front of him, slammed the monster in the face and then Jackson himself ran through it emerging as the Green Lightspeed Brigade Ranger.

"Now he decides to be smart." Ben muttered as he fired with the Data Laser again and threw the monster again, slamming it headfirst into the pavement again.

Jackson drew his gun and then just stood there, not sure what he should do.

Ben looked at Jackson, and sighed, saying, "And I had such high hopes for him." He ejected IC-01 and put in IC-04, firing the spray and hitting the monster several times. He called over his shoulder, "It's a gun. You know, for shooting stuff."

The shot hit a wall well wide of both Ben and the monster. Ben picked up the monster with the Hunter Claw and held it in front of him, saying, "How's about a little target practice?"

"Sounds good to me!" Jackson shouted firing another two shots off.

The monster screeched in pain, then ripped free of Ben's claw, knocked Ben to the ground, and charged at Jackson, screeching.

Jackson punched at the monster with his gun hand, firing as he followed through.

The monster stumbled backward, clawing at it's own face as Ben came up behind it, and yelled, "Nap time!" as he hefted the monster and activated the turbines in the Hunter Claw, spinning the monster above his head and slamming it into the pavement, knocking it unconscious.

Jackson paused, clicked his tongue and then shot the monster again rather halfheartedly.
