Sakurai was already with Akumaro. The Gedoushu just watched him with that grin permanently on his face, claws extended and ready. Sakurai drew out his fire Kanji, becoming KuroKaen and drawing his sword point down.
"Hurry, Kaoru," Sakurai said softy. He was sure she would want her revenge as much as he did, and with his, he wasn't sure if he would slay Akumaro first.

Akumaro's defense was too high; he was too fast, parrying with his claws every time Sakurai attacked. He dodged back and dashed forward, using Hanafubuki, but his flames did nothing as his foe dodged back to evade. Alone he couldn't do this.

Kaoru finally arrived, already transformed, and she charged at Akumaro.

"Oh, both of you?" Akumaro smiled, "I'll just turn you both back to me!"
"Never," Sakurai said, looking to his sister. He lifted his sword and rushed Akumaro, slashing him a few times, but he kept getting parried.
