Ariel had chosen, after the little run-in with the "public face" of the resistance, to operate independently of them for now, since he was special forces trained. The Megaship's sensors had picked up an anomaly on the approaching planet...and he decided to investigate it.
After the encounter with Drake, he hadn't spoken to her again. While he could not deny that she was someone he was very much attracted to, she was definitely different...and he didn't know how to take her, since it seemed that she had rejected his honor.
Now he sat on the bridge, brooding.

The beast walked around, smashing trees with his fists. He was bored. Boredom wasn't good.
Why was there nobody strong?

"DECA, raise the lighting to normal levels for the lady." "Acknowledged."
Ariel stood to his feet, turning to face her. "Actually, the ship's staying up here. We have a better way of travel."

"Galaxy Gliders. Just remember to lean forward and keep your balance." Ariel said, walking towards her on his way to the launch tubes.

Ariel shrugged. "Normal people, eh?" he said, sighing a little before relenting. "Ok, we'll take the Megashuttle down, if it suits you." he said simply, turning and heading for the docking port.

He couldn't help but mentally smirk at the thought of her losing her footing and flailing in space...and then her possible reaction when he rescued her. His face betrayed nothing however, as he sat down at the controls.

He didn't know what he was feeling. It was just a sense. Something was coming, or about to come.

Ariel remained silent on the trip down, finding a good clearing to land in a few minutes later.

The beast hurried. A ship? In the jungle? This had to be good.

He stood up. "Drake, I don't have a good feeling about this...stay here for now, I'll tell you when it's clear." he said simply, not patronizing her, just noting that he was more able to handle any...surprises. He strode out of the cockpit and extended the shuttle's ramp, walking down, in his blue jeans and armored vest. He carried himself confidently, looking around.

"There...," he hissed, pushing out of the forest and seeing Ariel, flexing his fingers and tightening them into fists. He developed a dark smile, a wicked grin, "Can you sate my hunger?"

Ariel stopped, looking at the newcomer. "So, you are the bad feeling I had." he stated simply, removing his jacket and tossing it aside near the ramp. "And what is it exactly that you hunger for?" he gave, showing no emotion.

"Combat," he hissed.

Sizing up his opponent, he determined the vest would only get in his way. So he got rid of that too, leaving it near the ramp. having his morpher on one arm and his gauntlet on the other. "So you're a warrior then." Ariel walked towards him, calmly but evenly...like a predator ready to spring into action.

He went into a lower crouch, "A killer," he hissed, shooting himself off on his powerful legs, towards Ariel.
