"You help Rick. I got this." Ryan said as he reattached the Rescue Wing and snapped it open, boosting himself into the air with the Extinguisher. He found Pyrocus pretty fast, and dropped in front of him, and asked, "Going somewhere?" as he equipped the Drill and spun it a few times.

Pyrocus shouted and attacked with a quick thrust.
Henley rushed over to the first escaped victim as another came out. She de-Morphed and helped them, "Here, I'm a paramedic," she said, helping them out.

Ryan flipped the Drill to a reverse grip and drove it into the blade full force with the drill bit spinning, in an attempt to break the blade.
The person coughed from the smoke, and said, "Thanks, but Mary's still in there. She'll burn!"

His blade was shattered, forcing Pyrocus to grip his shattered arm.
"Rick will get her out," Henley assured the woman.

Ryan spun the drill in his hand, and then swiped with another backhanded grip.
"No, no, Mary is my daughter! She's only 10 months old!" The woman yelled, approaching hysteria.

Pyrocus stumbled away, gasping, and then collapsed, blowing apart.
"Rick will save her. He'll save everyone," she tried to assure.
Very soon Rick came back out, leading three more people, and carrying a child in his arms, hurrying over.

Ryan spun the drill a few more times, then hit a button in his bracer, undoing his transformation. He began to walk over to where Rick and Henley were.
"Oh Mary!" the woman yelled as she ran over and grabbed the smoke stained infant from Rick's arms, cradling her and crying tears of happiness.

Rick lifted his arm, undoing his transformation. Henley went to check on the child and everyone else while Rick walked over towards Ryan, "Well, this certainly is an interesting job. I like the suit; it held up very well."

"It's what it was designed to do." Ryan said as he walked up next to them. "The Lightspeed Rescue Suits were supposed to be used by rescue teams to get people out of especially dangerous scenarios. Of course, that was when the government, who were sponsoring Lightspeed at the time, inferred their potential for combat."

"I imagine such a suit would be nice for combat situations. If you had someone to fight," he said, "And there's no lack of those..."

"I know you two aren't exactly fighters, but think of fighting these demons as rescuing a lot more people, just not directly. If you let these guys rampage, they will endanger and claim more lives than if we just kick their butts the moment they show up. At least, that's my point of view. You two can adopt your own." Ryan said.

"It makes sense," Rick admitted, "But it's just not my style. I'll fight if I have to, but if I have the option, I'll take rescue."

"Acknowledged. Now, let's get back to base. There is a lot more about bein a Ranger that you two need to learn." Ryan said, and began walking towards the Rescue Chaser.

He looked back, "Looks like Henley is going to be a while," he said.
She was still looking over the rescued, making sure they were fine.

"If you'd come with me. We may need to cut this a little shorted than is preferred. How do you feel about rescuing other people?" Mrs. Fairweather asked, turning and walking down the hall toward the conference room. "It's what I've wanted to do since I was about seven ..." He said with a smile "Um ... should we reschedule this for a time when everyone ... isn't running around like headless chickens?"
