Rick and Henley, after first being recruited Lightspeed, were heading to meet with the captain. They needed proper recruitment information, and debrief.

Ryan walked in, with a clip board in his hand, looking through some papers. If one were to pay attention, one would see a picture of Rick on one of the pieces of paper. Ryan looked up, noticed Rick and Henley, and said "Please, sit." gesturing to a chair while he took a seat of his own.

The two took their seats without a word. This was military-styled, or so they assumed, so no questioning from them.

Ryan placed the clipboard on the table, and looked at it, saying, "Rick Jacobs, firefighter, one life lost in an explosion, specifically recruited. And Henley Cooper, EMT, encountered by chance." He looked up, and said, "How do the two of you feel about being able to save a lot more lives?"
(I'm assuming this occurs before they actually become Rangers.)

I assume so.
"That's why I'm here, at the least," Rick said.
Henley nodded, "The same. I wouldn't be here if if I didn't want to save more lives."

"Excellent. Now, have the two of you heard of the Power Rangers?" Ryan asked, interlocking his fingers in front of him. His face was deadly serious.

Henley nodded her agreement, "As have I. I think I've heard that term as well."

"Excellent." Ryan said, as he stood and walked to the wall behind his chair. He depressed a secret panel in the wall, and it slid away, revealing a secret cubby. He reached in and pulled out a silver briefcase with the symbol of Lightspeed on it, and set it down on the table. He opened it, and turned it around, revealing the five Brigade Changers. "How do you feel about becoming one?" he asked.

"Doesn't matter," Rick said, "Though I'm not interested in fighting, if you have weapons set to different colors, or something."
"Pink," Henley commented offhand.

"Okay. Let's see..." Ryan thought back, considering, then said, "Rick, you are now the Blue Brigade Ranger." as he turned the case around and pulled out a Changer, and placed it on the table in front of Rick. "And Henley, you said you wanted pink, so pink it is." and he pulled out another Changer and placed it on the table in front of her.

She gave him a smile, "Thank you," she said, turning it over in hand and looking at it.
Rick just picked it up and put it on his wrist, figuring that was the point, "Anything specific to color? Or is it all just standard equipment between colors?"

"The equipment is color-coded, and the Zords vary between Rangers. Rick, yours is Brigade Hydro 2, armed with high-pressure water cannons, and Henley, yours is Brigade Rescue 5, which is, for all intents and purposes, a gigantic ambulance. I'm still not completely certain what Mrs. Fairweather had in mind when she designed it." Ryan replied.
