Mel was the first to notice, out of her peripheral vision, and gently nudged Kira. "Hmmhmm?" "Finish that mouthful, we have a guest." Mel whispered, and Kira finished it hurriedly, using her hands to pull her hair back from around her face, and look over at the guest.

Shotaro was wowed even more by the woman sitting next to him. He mentally froze for a little, unsure as to what to do now.

"Umm...Hi." Kira began in English, but caught herself, repeating that in Japanese a little slower, trying to be respectful.

Kira blushed, looking down to use her hair to hide it, throwing up a hand awkwardly to wave. "Thank you." Mel said. "You look like someone who knows this place...we could most likely use your help."
