She looked back at Kotone, deciding to whisper. She went up onto the toes of her boots and whispered to him, "Um...I...I like you..."
She hoped that this would go well. She had fortunately chosen something she thought was cute; skirt, leggings, long sleeved pale shirt, light scarf.

Was Kotone one of those other girls? Or hadn't she actually done anything yet to be considered one?
