Betenight slashed the vines while Verpes approached them.
Both Rangers used their Presshower cards, smashing both directly into Verpes, this time managing to slow him for about five seconds. It still wasn't working.

Eri managed to get to her feet, looking to Ryosuke, whom she got to. "Ryosuke-kun.." she said, taking out the CompreThunder card. "Let's try this." she said, inserting the card and pushing the morpher back together. A pink blast of lightning came down, touching the water that was on him. |

Verpes saw it coming, "Betenight!" he shouted, getting away from the water with the other's help. That left the other soldier in the way, taking the elementally charged strikes and going down, destroyed.

Verpes span towards that attack as Cal and Liam went to join them.
"If that doesn't work, Buster?" Liam asked.
Cal nodded, "Yeah."

Aaron and Sayo both slotted Rockrush, and aimed it at Verpes.

He smashed the rocks aside as he charged at the Rangers, not slowing, "I'm the greatest warrior of this unit!" he screamed at them, "Do you think rocks can stop me?"
"Buster!" Cal ordered.

The six Rangers put their weapons together, aiming it at Verpes.
Cal looked at Ryosuke, "You're the one who's done this every time," he said.

Verpes slid to a stop, drawing his claws up and focusing his power, slashing back at the blast, matching its power.
And then an explosion occurred, but he walked out of it, covered in damage, but not slowing.
"What the hell sort of guy is this?" Liam shouted.
