The Strongest Soldier [Celestial Rangers]

[Cal and Liam]

Verpes, Bladerun and King Monsth had grown tired of failures. Monsth especially; so he tasked his greatest soldier, Betenight with slaying the Celestial Rangers, after they had killed many of his warriors, and gained new Zords in the process.

Betenight descended to the Earth and immediately began to rampage, unleashing bursts of power from his shield-like weapon on his left arm, leveling buildings immediately.

Verpes descended as well to watch, Bladerun opting to stay in the ship with his King. Verpes extended his arms and swung his blades around a little, wanting to tear the Rangers apart himself.

Code had sent out the warning to the Rangers, telling them where to go. But Yana wasn't so sure about this. He knew of Betenight; he feared for his team.

[Eri Dalton]

Eri was on her way there, though something seemed different to her this time...that feeling of doom that anyone else couldn't shake...but she did. running through the people, avoiding them and pushing a few out of the way as she needed to. She hoped the others would catch up..

[Cal and Liam]

Cal and Liam were hurrying, pushing around and past people and drawing out their Morphers and cards, transforming as they ran to get the people to move faster out of their way. They weren't far behind Eri.

[Eri Dalton]

Eri finally got through the crowd, and kept running, getting closer to the site.

[Cal and Liam]

Cal and Liam caught up, "Any idea where the others are?" Cal questioned her.

[Eri Dalton]

Eri shook her head, taking out her morpher and transforming, rolling her shoulders a little now that she was in Ranger form. "Don't know, I was out getting more ingredients for a cake, then the call came and I came here."

[Cal and Liam]

Cal nodded, "Let's hope they show up soon," he said. Considering the team had yet to actually have many fights together. Just members fighting against the enemy.

Verpes saw them coming and laughed, walking towards them with his warrior following.

[Eri Dalton]

"Yeah, look at the big ugly coming this way." Pink said, pointing him out, one hand near her blaster.

[Cal and Liam]

"Verpes," Cal recalled.

Verpes ran towards them with Betenight following, generating power into his arm weapon and throwing it forward while Verpes ran and slashed.

Liam summoned his weapon and slammed the shield into Verpes's claw, parrying it but being thrown back by his raw power.

[Eri Dalton]

Pink jumped back, her legs going up and to the side, narrowly avoiding the energy slash as she drew the blaster and fired back at Betenight.

[Cal and Liam]

Betenight took no damage from his thick hide. He ran forward and slashed for Eri.

Cal fired with his blaster and bowgun at Verpes, but it didn't do anything. Verpes span and slashed him aside before spinning back and taking Liam down as well, his blades smashing the shield aside.

[Eri Dalton]

She put the weapon away, using her flexibility to lean back under the blade, touching the ground with her hands as she attempted to kick Betenight in the face twice..

[Cal and Liam]

Verpes walked towards Eri as Betenight took the kicks, "You think you can hurt him that easily? You're a fool!" he laughed, running for her with his blades down and ready while Betenight turned his blade and slammed it for her.

[Eri Dalton]

One of them she could manage, but both she couldn't, taking all of the hits in the stomach and chest area, being sent flying.

[Cal and Liam]

Cal slotted his Sea Brothers card, sending the various heads flying at them, but they were unable to do damage.

"Damn it, where are the others?" Cal muttered.
