Bridge Carson walked into the Futo city police office and looked around. SCU had sent him here to investigate the kidnapping case of Mio Yagami, an eleven year old girl who'd been stolen from out of her bed two days ago. The family had been given an ultimatum, either deliver them 100,000 yen or the girl died. And since it was likely that they'd used Gaia Memories they needed his experience ...

[Hidari Shotaro]

Shotaro was wandering around Futo City PD searvhing for leads on the disappearance of Mio Yagami. Her parents had showed up at the Narumi Detective Agency that morning and asked for Shotaro's help. they must have felt that the more people out helping find their daughter the better. Either that, or they just thought the police were exactly what Shotaro saw them as...baka! They lacked the natural instincts possessed by a hard-boiled detective such as himself.
He had been talking to his friend Jinno in his office for about an hour and was on his way out to conduct his own search since it would appear that the police has come up with nothing so far. He stopped by the vending machine and got himself a chocolate bar and a can of soda for a snack.
He was still sore after his last bout with Kamen Rider Eternal. His physical form was ok, but his pride was shot down in ruins. He had lost 2 of his T2 Memories, Luna and Metal and was determined not to lose any others but also to reclaim what he had lost. But first things first. He had a client to work for right now. He popped the can of soda open and took a large swig before gasping in satisfaction.

"Ahhh, god stuff!" he said to himself before pondering where to begin his search.

[Bridge Carson]

"Right then," Bridge said to no one in particular "Let's start this case,"

The kidnappers had managed to sneak into their house and steal the girl out of her bed without waking anyone up. This being Futo City that meant that he was probably looking for a Gaia Memory user. He stopped next to a vending machine and was about to get a drink when he noticed something.

A hazy indigo aura. The hallmark of a Gaia Memory user.

Now, a man in a fedora, wearing a waistcoat was already weird and suspicious. But when they have a Gaia Memory's aura and are hanging around a police station ...

Bridge approached the man and tapped him on the shoulder.
"Hi," Badge flash "Bridge Carson SCU, I'd like to talk to you about the kidnap of Mio Yagami,"

[Hidari Shotaro]

Shotaro had never seen this man at the Futo PD before and he had interacted with just about every officer in the precinct at one point or another over the years of working as a detective. This guy must be new.

"Yagami Mio...?" he pondered, "Ahhh, you must be the officer in charge of the case that Jinno-san mentioned."

He then reached into his jacket and produced a business card for the agency.

"Hidari Shotaro, Hard-Boiled tantei-san. Narumi detective agency." he said, reciting the card by heart

[Bridge Carson]

"You're the detective that her parents hired?" Bridge asked, putting his badge away.

[Hidari Shotaro]

"Thats me." Shotaro replied proudly, "They obviously didnt think the police were up to the task so they...branched out, for better help. The police lack the natural insincts of a hard-boiled detective like myself."

[Bridge Carson]

Bridge paused for a second.
"Yeah, well obviously you aren't a "hard-boiled" detective," He told him "I mean I just told you that I was a police officer and then you decide to just insult either me personally, or the entire police force, either way it's pretty unprofessional,"

[Hidari Shotaro]

Shotaro frowned at this.

"Whatever you say....baka-san!" He smirked as he slowly waltzed out of the building

[Bridge Carson]

"Baka-san?" Bridge commented "Even when you're insulting you can be polite,"

"Anyway, possession of a Gaia Memory, how long's that again?" He asked, staying where he was "I know you're using one, I can sense it ..."

[Hidari Shotaro]

Shotaro stopped in his tracks. How did this guy know he had a Gaia Memory. did he know how many he had? Did he know he was a Kamen Rider?

"I dont know what you're talking about!" Shotaro responded with his back to Bridge between the doorway entrance to the station

[Bridge Carson]

Bridge followed him.
"Please, you can't hide it from me," He said "And considering how I think that Mio Yagami was kidnapped by a Dopant, you're my first suspect,"

[Hidari Shotaro]

"There is more to a Gaia Memory than just a Dopant form....baka-san." Shotaro smirked before making his way out, "Now if you'll excuse me...i have a case to solve."

He walked out the door and turned left down the street towards the hotspots of the city. Perhaps he would find some leads there.

[Bridge Carson]

"Yeah well the two of us are on the same case, so I'll be following you around now, we can solve it together?" Bridge said, putting an arm round his shoulder "So, where were you between the hours of 11:30 - 12:00 last Sunday?"

[Hidari Shotaro]

Shotaro pushed him off of him.

"I work alone baka-san." Shotaro replied, "I only ever had one partner...and he's long gone now. That is the path of the hard-boiled detective. If you want to follow me be my guest, but stay out of my way!"

[Bridge Carson]

"... no," Bridge said, still following him "It's my job too, and I'm going to find this girl,"
