Miyuki looked on sadly before sitting on the desk.

Katsu went to her locker to get her things, and went off towards class, still in tears, not that anyone seemed to notice nor care.

Miyuki cried, her head on the desk. She didn't care that she missed her class... She was too put down to even care anymore.

Maybe she didn't deserve to be happy...
She sat down in class, in the back of the room, keeping that thought in her mind.

Maybe she didn't deserve friends...
That thought ran through her head as she continued to cry in the empty classroom.

She had managed to stop crying during class and put on a bit of an act, at least. But when it was over, and she was going to lunch, she went outside instead, unable to keep it up any longer, so she started to cry again.

Miyuki, however, didn't stop crying. She wasn't even aware it was lunchtime... or that time had even passed.

She realized it then; she had left her sketchbook behind in that room. She didn't want to go back, but she needed it, so she got up and went back into the school to find that classroom again.

Miyuki looked up, and saw the sketchbook that Katsu left behind. Curious, she looked through it...

At the moment there would only be about fifteen pages filled. The pictures varied, but they were mostly scenes of beauty, such as sunrises, the forest at dawn, the sunlight reflecting off of the water, and the like.
One notable one would be a lone flower growing from rocks and other dead matter. Nothing Gothic or macabre, just natural, dead matter. The flower was supposed to represent hope and beauty. That one can always find hope no matter how bad the situation gets.
I credit the person who inspired Katsu for that, it's her line from another RPG anyway, I just had to dig it up.

Katsu placed her hand on the picture, just enough to not mess it up. "Oh, Katsu..." she said sadly. "You're still looking for that hope..."

She finally found the room and pushed the door open softly, looking around, seeing Miyuki was still there. She wasn't sure what to do.

Miyuki didn't hear Katsu enter, still looking at the picture.

She walked towards Miyuki, wiping tears out of her eyes, "Can...can I have that back?" she asked softly.

Miyuki looked at her, wiping her own tears. "Y-Yeah..." she said, holding it out for her.
