Zero One had left once again, going out for a walk in the night, where he could blend in. He would receive any notice from Under Anchor that he needed to, and be back before Youko needed him.
The human world was interesting. Especially at night, when new and different things happened.

Lucas's emotions these days were fairly regulated.
He was bored. Constantly. Even the hordes of video games he was building up didn't help him.
Half-playing on his V-System as Alpha hacked his way through a level he walked lazily through the street, looking for something... Anything to do.
"Boss." Alpha spoke up. "There's something out here... Another machine."

Zero One began his humming habit, "Ru Ru Ru...Ru Ru Ru..."
There was nobody around; it was fine for him to make noise like this.

Alpha timidly backed out into the firmware. Lucas sighed, saving and shutting off his console, his avatar halfway through a wall.
He looked up, keeping it in is hand.
"Where is this ghost machine of yours?" He asked tiredly. With Alpha's instructions he began to walk towards Zero One.
