The Unknown with the sword deflected shots away, getting closer and slashing at Takeru's chest.

The monster roared again, the heel blades extending by themselves, and she jumped into the air, coming down and sinking the right blade into the right shoulder of the other Unknown, holding that position of excruciating pain, before kicking backwards, the aura of light appearing over it before it exploded...

Takeru was pushed back, but wasn't fazed by the attack as he raised his sword up for a powerful slash, the blade shining in light.

What the Hell were those things? No! Wait, Donovan had showed her some pictures for that book he'd been writing, they were kaijin of some sort.
But what was the monster girl? Another enemy? At the moment she seemed to be going mental.

The blades met, and the Unknown's blade was destroyed...which rendered him unable to respond to what happened next, the monster girl jumping in the air, sinking both of her heel blades into the Unknown's shoulders, steadying herself with her hands....then she flipped away, landing on her feet, roaring in triumph as the aura of light appeared over the Unknown before it exploded.

Sakura floated to the floor and eyed the girl wearily.

She turned to look at Sakura, her green chest plate moving up and down for a few moments before she realized something. The ear splitting sound was gone...and she'd been drained by fighting twice...
Which caused her to sink to one knee, reverting to human form, her black leather uniform and harness clinging to her, her legs having beads of sweat on them. "Yes?" she finally managed, looking at the girl.
