"Oh. But if you were fighting, would you do that?" Mina asked, as Artemis padded back to his old place on the tree branch, and crouched, preparing to pounce.

"Oh." Mina said, her parade thoroughly rained on, as Artemis sprang, landing on Mina's head and beginning to attack her. After a quick bout of flailing, Mina ripped the cat off of her head and held him out at arm's length. Artemis just hung there limply, his eyes blank.
"Arty-chan? Artemis?" Mina asked worriedly, shaking him a little. A few scratches on her face bled a little, but she ignored them.

Caty took a half-dozen steps back away from them, shaking a little when she saw Artemis.

"Artemis!" Mina nearly yelled, shaking the cat violently, until he came to. He looked around confusedly, and meowed at Mina.
"What happened to you?" Mina asked.

"Yeah. Arty-chan would never flat out attack me like that, even if he was really damn mad. Something's amiss here." Mina said, looking around very dramatically.

She closed her eyes and started to walk off, following a trail subconsciously.

At an entrance to the park around the corner from where Caty and Mina were, the man from earlier stumbled out of the park and fell to his knees. He clawed at his head and began screaming in pain as white fur grew from his skin. His feet turned into cat paws, claws grew from his fingers, a short cat snout grew from his face, and to top it off, ears sprouted from the top of his head. People began screaming and running in fear as the man, now the Cat Zerogun, let out a loud meow, more like a roar really, and cats began streaming from alleys everywhere, forming up around him.

Caty utterly froze when she saw him, and what was happening.
"Chats...," she said softly, shaking her head and shaking all over, "No...no not this..." She was afraid, very, very afraid.

The teacher walked nearby, heading to a place to shop for more food, and some things for Misaki, when she would hear the people screaming. Normally, it would have been music to her ears...but this was different....and she turned to see all of the cats.
She lightly facepalmed...
