"It's a long story. See, for a while, I was taking Miu's place while she was away somewhere. I didn't even know I was a clone until I ran into her. Then I sorta left, had a sabbatical, and came back as my own woman," she said. "That's the gist of it, anyway."

She nodded, unable to really say much. She just stood there, too unsure of what to say, and it would be rude to just leave.

She didn't answer. She was unconscious, but a new power was welling up from the Arc. She would soon have access to the power of Arc ~ Luminous after awakening.

Miyuki hefted her up. "Nick," she said. "Find us a place where she can properly rest, all right?"
"Roger!" Nick said, transforming into bike form. Miyuki got on with Katsu being held by her, and Nick raced off to the nearest hotel.

She remained unconscious the entire time.

As they rode off, Miyuki undid the remainder of her transformation. When they arrived, Miyuki told Nick to stay outside, and she paid for a single night hotel room, passing off Katsu as her tired younger sister. Arriving at the room, she gently placed Katsu on the bed and waited for her to wake up.

As she lay there, the only real movement was the rise and fall of her chest as she breathed. Otherwise she remained rather still as the Arc still remained active within her, birthing new power. She would remain asleep until it was done.
