"Excellent," Fiorela said then turning to her brothers, "Spread out and find that technology, do what you think needs to be done." She then pulled out a smoke grenade and threw it towards the Riders, as smoke filled the room all the Brotherhood members including Fiorela spread out throughout the building intent on finding the device.

The two Riders removed their transformation devices. Alice emerged, clutching the Advent Deck to allow herself to move through the mirrors. The there threw their devices to each other, swapping so as to avoid wearing themselves out with one specific power; and to throw off anyone they battle as a part of that assassin group.
Alice became Garren, Eugene became Scissors, and Jared became Riki. They spread out and pursued the Fangires.

Fiorela desperately searched for the device, she knew that the other Riders would soon catch up with them and then she would have to fight them all over again. Finally she found the head of Section, Vincent, who was carrying the device.
She cut him off at a corridor and when he turned he bumped into her, "Hello Vincent" she said

"You know of me. Good." He threw the case, hitting it against the wall. It was empty. "I'm not a fool; I didn't get to be head of Section by being one."
The soldiers in his care dropped their cases, revealing that they were empty as well. Even anything carried by the head of NexTech was empty.
"We have two duties." Vincent said, "Protect the United States from threats, and our current mission of protecting the device until it can be sent to the government proper. We're accomplishing the first by doing the second. We're taking the second very seriously, as you can probably tell." He removed a cigar from his breast pocket and lit it, taking in a deep inhale of smoke, "Now what do you do, assassin?"

Fiorela looked at the empty cases before laughing, "You are a very interesting man Vincent and smart too. Two qualities that women desire in men." She then spoke into her radio, "We're pulling out brothers. We've completed the contract." She then said to Vincent, "I look forward to our next meeting." Fiorela the pulled out her last smoke grenade and threw it towards Vincent escaping in the confusion.

"So you're the bastard who tried to take out my company," Jack said as he climbed up the stairs "Not a wise move ..."

"Ah, Mr. Frost." Vincent said, "I'd offer you a cigar if you weren't Eternal right now."
His three Riders rushed towards him, stopping behind Vincent and his soldiers. They waited, the Riki blaster trained on Jack, the Garren blaster also trained on him, while Scissors was waiting to cover Vincent and the NexTech president's escape.

"How kind of you," Jack commented.
He stood in front of Vincent and his soldiers. "Have you ever wondered why we do this?" He asked after a pause "We're both clever men, we're both lucky men, we could've had everything and anything that took our fancy, but instead here we are fighting a secret war to see which species gets to rule an Earth we probably won't be alive to see,"

Fiorela looked at the two men as they exchanged words, although she had completed her mission she was curious as to how two heads of opposite agendas would act in this situation. She remained hidden and silently watched the exchange.

"No, Mr. Frost. We aren't both lucky men. We are both clever men; I give you that. You may be lucky, but I have earned everything myself. I have built myself up from death row when I was a young man. I was saved and became an expendable grunt during the Cold War. It was only through pure willpower, pure skill, that I became the man I am, whom you see as lucky. I don't believe in luck; I believe in skill."

"Oh no trust me you're lucky," Jack said "A man sentenced to die doesn't get to be in your position just on skill, nor does he get there just on luck," He flipped up the Eternal Edge and started tapping the blade on his leg while he talked "It requires both,"

"Luck is like fate. The excuse of the weak." Vincent told Jack, "That is my belief. I was skilled enough to be drawn out of prison into Section. I was skilled enough to survive. I was skilled enough to become the leader."

"You were lucky enough to survive as the head of a top secret government project," Jack said "You haven't died from smoking yet, I haven't stabbed you through the neck with my knife yet, you seem like a very lucky man to me,"

"I was skilled enough to send who I needed where I needed. I was skilled enough to survive when I was in the field. I keep my smoking under control. You haven't stabbed me because that wouldn't accomplish much for you. You and I are having a conversation; in the middle of a conversation, one doesn't stab the other." Vincent told Jack.

"You obviously haven't been to one of Thomas's business meetings," He said.
He chuckled at his little joke and then looked around at the various men and women. "Come on! That was funny!"
