- Her busy schedule as both an AKB48 member and a practicioner of Gekijuken usually leaves her tired by the end of the day.
- Heavy sleeper. It takes a lot to wake her up; best to let her wake up on her own.
- Gets very furious if anyone uses the word "flat" in her presence, regardless of the context.... Despite her bust being of average measurement... (This is due to having a pretty small chest when she first joined.)
- A bit ditzy.

Overview: Yuko is a very, very cheery individual, even by AKB48 standards. Very kind and thoughtful, Yuko always puts others in front of herself, and will be willing to give her life to protect those she's close to.
When things get serious, Yuko becomes a little more controlled and disciplined, proving exactly why she is a practicioner of the Rhino Fist and one of the founding members of Team K. She has an indomitable will, something which she shows both on the battlefield and on the stage.

Henshin Sequence: Yuko summons her SaiBlade from her GekiChangers, and holds it outward, exclaiming "Sharpen! Blade of the beasts! Beast On!" She then presses a button on the SaiBlade, transforming into GekiChopper.

History
Yuko Oshima wasn't always the idol most of Japan is familiar with. In fact, in her early life, she was actually considered lonely and depressed because she was shunned by her classmates. Before she entered middle school, her parents divorced, and she was left in the care of her father. In 1996, she was signed on as a child actor with Central Kodomo Gekidan after someone saw her talent for acting. She remained with them for a few years before she left, going back to her studies. At age 16, she began working with the short-lived idol group Doll's Vox. After that failed, Yuko discovered the SCRTC, and began training with there, learning the Rhinoceros fist.
At age 17, a year into her training, she attended the second audtion for AKB48's newly formed Team K. She was one of seventeen chosen for it at that audition, and began working full-time with the group in April of 2006, and for the first time, she felt at home around other people, since she was treated as an equal amongst her fellow Team K members. She then began balancing her time between AKB48 and SCRTC training, her newfound outlook positively affecting her performance at both. At age 20, she obtained her Gekichangers after mastering Rhinoceros-ken, though her first transformation expelled too much raw power at once. To limit this, she was given the SaiBlade as her transformation device and weapon.
Now several years later, Yuko has been working with both the SCRTC and AKB48, her schedule becoming more and more stringent due to her increased prominence in the latter. Now she's gotta make a choice: Continue her duty as a Gekiranger, or remain with Team K?

Sample RP: Yuko opened the door in her apartment and slumped down on the couch, exhausted. She performed a very big show at the AKB48 Theatre today, and combined with her usual training, she was effectively worn out. "Mou... This is too much..." she said, rolling over on her back before sitting up. "I should get some sleep..." she said before standing up and walking to her room.
Of course, this meant passing by the fridge, and the moment she stepped past it, she stopped, turned right back around and went back to it; there was something she needed to be done. Opening the fridge, she took out a wedge of Cotija cheese. "How could I forget you? she said before going to the table. She was not about to let cheese go uneaten for an entire day, after all.
