Eventually, the two arrived near a river, where there was a large stream of smoke coming from an area in shallow water.

Tsukasa swayed his hand back and forth to try to clear the smoke. "It's... It's a chest," Tsukasa said finally, after he was able to get a good look at it.

"Not really... The water cooled it down enough so where I could carry it. I can't say the same about the lock on it, though," Tsukasa said, referring to the rather large metal padlock on the chest.

"I could break it," Tsukasa said. Honestly, he wasn't sure of it, but he didn't want Daiki to once again show how better he was at things than Tsukasa.
