Nadeshiko, as the Triasic Ranger, began to push forward, blocking any and all attacks with her shield, then countering with a kick.

Unfortunately, the monster was named a power-type for a reason, and while it staggered back briefly from the kick, it slammed its shield into Ryuu's axe, and brought its sword in for a side-slash.
A trio of minions, two with blades, one with a bow and arrow, sized up the twinJoker, before the ranged one fired two arrows at her side.

Using his blade, he whipped at the foes Nadeshiko fought, "I'm here for you!" he called, "If you are a beauty."

Ryuu blocked the slash with the handle of his axe and brought down a his fist with considerable strength onto the base of the blade, intending to see if he could break it off.

Nadeshiko looked at the new arrival. "And just who are you?" she asked, transforming her shield into its sword mode, and swinging at the mooks.

The two ranged monsters were defeated, but another trio with two blades and a bow and arrow sized up Otoya, Edgeworth and Misaki, before all moving in to engage with slashes and arrows directed at all three.
Twin Newts ducked down as the power-type punched back with the fist the blade was held in, and placed their cross blades in a square pattern around Ryuu before pushing the weapons in towards his waist, intending to trap him for a massive punch from the shield, which would be aimed at, and incoming to Ryuu.

WildJoker picked up a minion and threw it into the group, scattering several. They picked out the other Joker Memory, clicking it into the Maximum Slot. 'I've had enough of these bugs!' 'Steady...' They leapt into the air, energy flaring around the leg this time. 'Rider Kick!' WildJoker landed in the group of fallen minions, destroying a bunch of them with the impact. |

Ryuu quickly switched Nezumi out for Ohitsuji, and jumped up, coming down behind one of the Newts and slashing down with his axe.

The tall man saw this. "So this Rider exhibits the most resistence, hmm? An interesting bunch here....but It's time for my entrance." he said, walking through the minions, extending his golden Advent Deck forward, gold lightning running down to his waist.
The other newt would slash towards Ryuu while the power-type minion changed his arm back to a normal hand and reached up behind him, taking a hammer off of his back.
One of the blade monsters in the trio came to slash for Misaki, while the other one went to slash at Otoya. The bow and arrow one attempted to take down Edgeworth from afar.
More newts charged for WildJoker with blades in hand.

Otoya changed to whip, making a wall of blades by bending it around them.
