"Marcel is -" Quick as a flash she thought of a brilliant lie "- an ex boyfriend. I caught him sleeping with my sister so we broke up,"
Hopefully this wouldn't come back to bite her ...

Kevin bit into his Stromboli.

"Yes ... yes that's how we met," She was confident that she could shake this line of questioning "He was a paranormal ... guy, you know he studied monsters ... at university,"

"They give masters degrees in monsters?" he set down his food and wiped his face.
One more try.
"Maybe you can introduce us. I could use a monster expert in my line of work."

Kevin shook his head.
Continuing this could just make matters worse.
"That sucks." he picked up his Stromboli "So, you got a sister? Whats she like?"

She didn't have a sister. Suzie needed to describe a girl somehow, um ... she'd have to look like her so ginger. Older or younger? Younger, younger and hotter maybe she cou-
Suzie noticed the awkward pause that had sprung up while she was thinking.
"Pardon?" She asked, pretending she hadn't heard Kevin speak.

Kevin choked on his food and laughed while he tried to swallow bringing tears to his eyes.
"Ok -" cough "If you don't trust me." ahem "I can always leave you alone. I'm still new to the area, just trying to make some other friends and info."

"If the friends you want are riders then you won't ask about their past," Suzie told him "We tend to get snippy about that, if we actually know what happened,"

Elsewhere in London.... The underground train screamed past the ticket booth pulling some badly taped fliers off the walls, creating a small spiral behind it. Peter O'Harey looked up at the clock. Ten more minutes and i can watch those movies i bought yesterday. He turned back to his report sheet and began checking off boxes underneath 'In order'. Nothing ever happens here.Tap,Tap,Tap Peter jumped at the sound spilling what was left of his coffee on the floor. The tapping had come from the small window that let him talk to passengers seeking assistance. The window was empty. Peter leaned forward to look out the sides for the person who knocked. "Hello? Anyone there?" Peter had one brief second look down before a rotting harm broke the glass and grabbed his face. With inhuman strength the hand attempted to pull him through small hole but stopped when Peter's shoulders hit the sides. O'Harey's body twitched a few times before falling limp. _________________ Ten minutes later Charlie showed up to replace O'Harey, as usual. He almost panicked when saw the glass in the booth on the floor and the holes blocked with a cardboard sign telling all passengers that the information was not being serviced. His apprehension was calmed when entered the booth from the back entrance and saw Peter packing his bag. "Wot te boody ell appened P'ter?" "Some hooligans. Smash and run." he smiled. For a second he could of sworn Peter's eyes flashed green. O'Harey pushed past Charlie and punched his card. "Gotta run, the wife's doesn't like me late." Charlie settled down and waited for the early night rush. He picked up a fresh stack of tickets. A new sponsor on the tickets i see. Weird, no address, no name, just a symbol. he checked out one of the stubs. He shrugged and began feeding stacks of the tickets into the distributors. Got about 5000 people coming through today, Piccadilly is always busy this time of day.

Kevin nodded.
She's talkative. Imagine what she'd tell me if she got drunk.
"Boss? So you work for someone? I'm not looking for employment, but maybe you could tell him about me. If he wouldn't mind, It would be cool to work with, on his terms of course."
