Soon after she left Ayane in the alley, she began to search for her next target, Emily Tani. She smirked to herself. "Emily Tani..." she muttered as she walked. "So alone and afraid... You feel like you don't belong... You chose to rebel against the one who calls himself your lord... I'll show you just how alone you really are..." she said as she smirked, searching for the Samurai of the forest.

Emily was walking back towards the Shiba manor from the city, having gone to try and buy something for Kotoha, just out of the kindness of her heart. She wasn't aware of what awaited her, though.

Kaoru decided to try a different tactic, and started running, looking like she was being chased. "Emily!!" she called out in mock fright, panting. "Help!"

"Eh?" Emily turned around and dropped what she had, reflexively running towards and getting in front of (or behind) Kaoru, to "protect" her.

Emily took Kaoru's hand and went further down the alley, pushing aside a door with her strength and leading her into the unoccupied house, closing the door.
