When they left the house, he kept going, through the trees overhanging the path to the house. He didn't notice Rose to the side as he walked over to Rekka, "I hope you guys figured something out," he said. When he reached her, he lifted his hand out to tip her chin up and placed a kiss on her lips.

Rekka looked up when he tipped her chin up, then kissed him back gently and softly when he kissed her.
Rose however, looked on. I'm happy for Rekka-chan...but they could have told me. she thought simply, and after a few moments watching them share something she could not...yet....she walked forward, clapping a few times slowly.

Rose rolled her eyes. "Accept what you're told like a good man, I know you do. But, we are not here to discuss a rookie Knight's need for someone beside him at night...we're here to discuss a plan to free one of our own. Rekka, if you would."
Rekka nodded and told Sonoko, along with the others, about the plan. She had seen Rose's joke, and while it didn't immediately make her laugh, she did know it for what it was.
