William Paragon had taken a few Vector soldiers out on a little ... excursion. He was standing on an Arctic coast, while the soldiers dug into the ice. Soon they'd find a treasure.
The first super soldier.
A few tweaks, a few mods and Hey Presto! He'd be able to redesign the drones to be far more effective. But they were still taking forever so he was happy to pace up and down in his Nazca form.

One of the drone soldiers looked up and turned his head around to see something heading at them and fast. Paragon heard a second later and looked up, the round hitting him hard. He cried out as it hit him and sent him flying into the snowy ground.
A pair of soldiers walked towards him and William batted them aside, they backed off.
"SHIELD?" He whispered "... Damn,"
"Continue digging! Get him out of here and soon!" He roared, getting up and running towards Fury, sword drawn in case another round came at him.

William was ever to bat away two shots with his sword but a third one knocked his left leg and he skidded to an awkward halt, using his sword to stop himself. He looked up and took a memory out of his belt.
BURST!
With that quick push he slotted it into his sword and then pointed it at Fury.
BURST! MAXIMUM DRIVE!
His sword glowed orange and then a long, constant stream of plasma, or light or whatever that stuff was extended from the blade towards Nicholas Fury ...

Paragon laughed and slung his sword over his shoulder, walking towards Fury.
"Why don't you leave before I bury you and your men?" He asked/ threatened.
Meanwhile Paragon's drones were starting to shoot at the approaching SHIELD soldiers.

CLANG! The first shot ricocheted off of Paragon's sword.
CLANG! The second shot skimmed Nazca's shoulder.
CLANG! The third shot hit him in the smoking dent in his chest.
William gasped and clutched his free hand to his chest, stumbling a little. He looked up at Gunslinger.
"You'll pay for that ..."
He pulled the Burst memory from his sword and switched it out for the Nazca one. The memory shouted out it's name as a pair of burning blue wings erupted from his back before he took to the sky.

"I am," He said raising into the sky till he was at the optimum height.
Optimum height to fold the wings back and dive down towards Fury at an incredible velocity, sword outstretched.

William landed on the ground, kicking up snow. His own left arm had a bit of a black mark in it and was smoking from where he'd been hit by Fury's attack. He gritted his teeth and turned to face Fury.
"That's good, what sort of weapon is it?"

"Wonderful, wonderful," William said, he was glad that he used those three seconds that Fury spent talking about his gun to push his sword deep into the ground.
He pulled the weapon out quickly and immediately a crack was heard, a spiking fissure snaking up to Fury and splintering the ice around them.

The bullet hit Paragon in the shoulder and he took a few steps back before flapping his teal and orange wings before jumping into the sky.
"Well I can fly," He said, before realising that his shoulder pad had dropped to the floor with a clang.

William "stood", above Fury, flapping his wings and watching, ready to attack if by some miracle he didn't fall into the icy seas below.

CLANG!
There was a fizzing noise and the wings on Paragon's back became ... wavy. He hung in the air for two tenuous seconds before the lines of blue and orange started to dissolve and fracture, unfurling like ribbons as he plummeted to Earth ...

William's head bounced on the ice shelf as he fell between them and sank to the bottom of the ocean.
Meanwhile the VECTOR troops were still fighting fiercely with SHIELD's commandos.

Another too drones turned and started concentrating their firing at Fury.

There was a cracking noise as the bullets went through several Vector drones and into the totem pole they were excavating. That wasn't good, the target was getting torn up by bullets.

A soldier with a pair of bladed tonfas ran towards Fury's men and slashed at them, another began shooting with a pistol and two more sped forward with electrified staffs.
