Vector Base 2 - Rescue [Army]

[Eiji Hino]

Eiji saw the attack and pushed Hina off of him, unable to dodge the kick himself.

[Queen]

"Eh?! Eiji-kun!" Hina called out, but couldn't do anything.....

The kick would connect with Eiji's chest, having unknown results at the time.

But Queen backflipped off of him, as Airi called out in concern, transforming to Rising Mighty Form and going after ZQ to keep her busy, along with Natsumi.

[Eiji Hino]

Eiji screamed in pain as his transformation came undone, and he held his hands over his chest.

[Hina Izumi]

Hina pulled out the cell medal quickly, returning to human form as she dropped to her knees near Eiji, cradling his upper body in her arms. "Eiji-kun!" she said, looking down,

"H-Hina-chan..." Eiji said painfully.

[Hina Izumi]

"Why? why'd you push me out of the way?" Hina asked, looking down as some tears came to her eyes...

[Eiji Hino]

"I said I would support you like you always have for me..." Eiji said. "I didn't want you to get hurt..."

[Hina Izumi]

"No, I'm your support, Eiji-kun." She said softly, "That's what I wanted to be...that's why I'm here..." she added, helping him up to a sitting position next to her knees.

[Eiji Hino]

"But if you got hurt... I wouldn't know what I would do..." Eiji said.

[Hina Izumi]

Hina teared up more, before reaching out and pulling Eiji close to her, or more specifically, his head closer to her chest. "Baka." she murmured softly, "If you got hurt...I would be lost without you...probably because I care about you that much..." she finished, blushing softly as she leaned her head down.

Queen saw the romantic moment going on...recognizing it for what it was...and for some reason, she found Kuuga and Femme to be a better focus of her attention.

[Eiji Hino]

Eiji blushed as well at that. "Why's that?" he asked.

[Hina Izumi]

"Because....because..." Hina paused, unable to bring herself to say it. Then she hugged Eiji's head closer to her chest and leaned down, whispering something important in his ear.

Eiji's eyes widened, but he returned the hug as best as he could before whispering the one thing that Hina wanted to hear from him, a smile on his face.

Hina's face flushed red and she lowered her head, burying her face in Eiji's shoulder, hugging him.

"H-Hina-chan! Too tight..." he said.
