Rider Stuff
Name: Kamen Rider Shu'goh
Henshin Device/Sequence: None. But he does summon a belt called the Beholder before he transforms. (Mostly for show) Once the transformation is activated, the eye in the center of the Beholder opens and Philip becomes Shu'goh
Forms:
- Form Name: Hybrid Form
Appearance: This is his basic form. In this form, Shu'goh is clad in dirty green armor with the wrist and ankle cuffs, shoulder pads, and belt accented with gold. The compound eyes are bright yellow and the head sports a pare of large ram-like horns growing out of the forehead. The most striking feature is the multiple eyes adorning the body. There is an eye on each shin guard, one on each fore-arm guard, and one in the center of the belt.
Transformation: Once the transformation is activated, dark green light envelopes Philip and morphs him into Shu'goh.
Weapons and Abilities:In this form, Shu'goh can extend claws from his fingers that are razor sharp. He can also absorb the energy of cosmic beings (as well as Orphonochs, Fangires, and sometimes Greeed) to use to energize an object such as a blade or a blunt weapon, but only for 10 to 20 seconds. As a last resort, Shu'goh can split his mouth guard to reveal a mouth-full of sharp teeth as well as a venom gland. The venom can paralyze humans and make creatures like Orphonochs sick.
Finisher(s): Abyss Gaze. An eye opens on Shu'goh's forehead that weakens kaiju and can then be finished off by a kick, punch, head-butt, etc. - Form Name: Elder Form
Appearance: This form is similar to Hybrid Form but with a few exceptions. The green becomes much darker, the gold becomes red and the compound eyes become orange. Spikes grow out of the shoulder pads and knee pads, and a large horn grows out of the forehead in between the ram horns. More eyes are added to the armor such as one on each upper-arm, one on each thigh, one in the center of the chest, and one on the back.
Transformation: Once Shu'goh absorbs a very large amount of energy, he can pull a very large sword out of his chest. He then can remove the eye from the Beholder and place it in the sword. Then he morphs into Elder Form.
Weapons and Abilities: The Elder Saber that he removes from his chest can be used as a normal sword but can also cut gashes in space and time for a few seconds. He can also create a pare of energy wings to fly temporally.
Finisher(s): Dimension cut-cuts a giant gash in space and time that sucks enemies into nothingness.
Sanity Breaker-flies into the air to deliver a kick that breaks both the body and the mind. - Form Name: Chaos Form
Appearance: An inhuman mess of tentacles and limbs.
Transformation: Triggers when in Elder Form, But only as an emergency and if there is absolutely no other option.
Weapons and Abilities: Can end all of reality but is nearly imposable to use. Could also drive Philip mad.
Finisher(s): None
Other Equipment:
- The Madness Cycle (disguised as a Harley, can be summoned at will and has the ability to teleport)
Inside Stuff
Personality: Philip has often been described by others as the weirdest looking cookie in the jar, he is very strange and bizarre when someone first meets him, but once a person gets to know him, he begins to open up and seem almost normal. He often comes off as self centered and arrogant at times but he never really means anything he says to be in bad taste, He just tends to state his mind.
Many people believe he is slightly crazy. Both in the fact that he has many odd habits (one of them being knocking on a door-frame three times before entering a house) and that he is obsessed with studding conspiracy theories. This means that for most of his
early life, he was shunned and alienated. Only recently has he managed to find a place in the world as a rider.
Strengths:
- Music
- Research
- Cooking
Weaknesses:
- Conversation
- Patience
- Clumsy
History: Philip was born in the town Of Ashland Oregon to the parents Roger and Fiona Grant. From a very early age, it was apparent that there was something odd about him. Like many young children he had an imaginary friend. But he ended up taking far longer to grow out of it. He also claimed that his friend was just a voice that only he could here. But as he grew he forgot about the voice.
Once he was thirteen, his life took a turn for the worse. he came home from school to find both of his parents had been brutally killed. The incident was written off as a burglary that got nasty (even though nothing was stolen) but the oddest part was that written on the wall in blood was the word, Shu'goh. After that day, Philip was taken in by his Aunt Liz and Uncle Charlie. They treated him well but he always resented them slightly simply for the fact that they weren't his parents. He spent the rest of his time in school researching conspiracy theories to find out what the word Shu'goh meant. It turned out that Shu'goh was a word in a language so dead that it made Latin seem new. It roughly translated into, hybrid. He also became a huge fan of the heroes known as Kamen Riders. Seeing them as nearly god-like in their benevolence.
Two months after graduating he ran into a gang of odd looking people in black robes while he was riding home on a Harley he got as a graduation gift. The gang forced him to stop his bike and get off. He asked who they were and the leader replied that they were part of a holy group known as the Order of the Void. He had previously heard of them as a dangerous cult that were known for "purifying" non-believers. As they began to attack him, he began to attempt to fight back, and ended up tapping into a small pool of energy that he never knew he had. The energy manifested as the thing he believed would save him. That thing was a Kamen Rider. After he defeated the cultists, He discovered that the voice of his childhood was real and is the embodiment of the energy in his body. Soon after, Philip chose to travel across America to find out why he has the power to become, Shu'goh.
Anything Else: One of the oddest aspects of Shu'goh's power is that the energy that powers him has a voice that Philip can communicate with telepathically. The other voice (that Philip has agreed to call Vincent) is the exact opposite of Philip. He is cocky, assertive, arrogant and suave. Despite the differences, Philip and Vincent treat each other like good old friends. Even though Philip is the "owner" of his body, Vincent can take over if Philip allows him or is unconscious. When Vincent takes over, Philip's eyes turn from brown to amber. When Philip becomes Shu'goh, Both Vincent and Philip inhabit Philips's body at the same time. When they evolve to Elder form, their personalities merge into one consciousness.
Sample RP: Philip crouched over his laptop going over forum chats. It had been a bad day for him. He had spent his day working at a cheap fast-food restaurant as a cashier, and he had been unceremoniously fired after his boss had found out he was a drifter. Now he spent his evening in a trashy motel room starring at a forum dedicated to discussing the legend of Angle-K.
"I think that it could be real," said an all too familiar voice in his head. Philip sighed and retorted, "Are you saying that because you actually think it's true, or because you know it gets under my skin?"
Is it wrong to say it isn't a little bit of both? Vincent said in a fake sounding apologetic way.
Philip chuckled and replied, "Well, I guess not. But that doesn't change my opinion. This Angle-K nonsense is the worst attempt to create an urban legend since Car-Key Gnomes." After a short pause, Vincent said, "Well I know what might cheer you up..."
"And that is..."
"Patrol!"
After shaking off the slight headache from the sudden shout, Philip realized he had to agree. So without a word, Philip stood up and headed downstairs to the outside. Only a few blocks away, he encountered a pare of thugs attempting to steal a man's wallet by beating it out of him. Philip took a battle-ready stance and muttered under his breath, "This is going to be a long night."
"And I don't think we would have it any other way."
