Medal for the class (Sachiko)

[Zera Gureen]

Zera was walking to his class though the greenhouse as he usually like to do to clear his head, the faculty staff at the university were a weird lot, more focus on their own reseches and thesis rather than teach but Zera couldn't complain. They left him alone to his own things but because of that it tended to give Zera a headache just trying to talk to them. The green house was wonderful full of various life which gave off sweet smells. Usually this gave Zera a lot of comfort but he noticed he wasn't really enjoying it. Mostly because of the missing students... three of which was his own.... he also noticed he was being anxious for Marline to return with some information of what might be going on. But for now he had a class to get to.

Some time later Zera walked into his class of the new semester students some of which he noted were of asian or japanese descent and also noted that he was early by 15 minutes so he decided to sit down at his desk and prepare some of his notes."

Among those students was Sachiko Miyazaki, who was sent undercover by Melissa. She sat there in silence, waiting for class to begin.

When most of the seats were filled Zera stood up from his chair and spoke to the class," Good morning students I am professor Zera Gurren and i'm sure by the end of my class you will either hate me or love history and put up with me."

"Now if you look at the board it will show a basic medieval siege, one side is a castle or similar mostly filled with archers and a few knights and foot soldiers. Now on the other side has a large amount foot soldiers, a group of knights both on horses and on foot, and a small amount of archers and four to five catapults. Now this is the most basic siege in English medival history so i suggest you all remember this cause it will turn up a lot in medieval battles as we take a look into history. Any questions?"

Sachiko took down notes, carefully listening to the her professor's lecture.

[Zera Gureen]

"Now this form of siege is only seen in medieval which was very wasteful as its was a waste or resources and people and most importantly time." said Zera and moved the board to show another one," Now who can tell me why was the sort of sieges wasteful?"

[Sachiko Miyazaki]

"Because armies tended to mobilize all their forces in a siege," Sachiko said.

[Zera Gureen]

"Not really," said Zera with a smile," Yes a good chunk of a lords army was er... shored up into a siege, but i was mostly the terrain that caused most of the problem... you see catapults could not really be moved from one castle to another. There was no real roads. So the attacking army had to build their catapults near the enemy so they had to transport all the rocks and wood and stuff. But the basic of a siege is that its a battle of irritation. To slowly wither your enemy down to nothing or as its most of the time surrender."

"Now can anyone name me a war, any war even if its fictional.... except of Star Wars please."

Sachiko thought for a moment. "The Seven Years' War."

[Zera Gureen]

"Ah yes the first Global Conflict as its alternately known." said Zera," Whats your name miss?"

[Sachiko Miyazaki]

"Sachiko Miyazaki, sir."

[Zera Gureen]

"Ah yes," said Zera as he looked at the list of students," I don't really see you on the list but i'm sure i don't have the most updated one so if you'll see me when class is over. Now the seven year war was most notable becuase it was the first war that truly involves many country. Don't et me wrong there were many...." Zera talks on to his class...


"....... now your first assignment is a somewhat of a free topic about anything you think is important in history its due next week and it must be one thousand words, give or take a few. Now Miss Sachiko Miyazaki please see me now."

[Sachiko Miyazaki]

Sachiko got up and walked to her professor. "Yes, sir?"

[Zera Gureen]

"Ah yes Miss Sachiko," said Zera," Firstly how do you spell your full name in english? I need to look for your name when they update the attendance list. Secondly i feel it is necessary to warn you about.... the problem that seems to be targeting our asian students....."

[Sachiko Miyazaki]

Sachiko spelled her name out for Zera. "Also, I am aware of what has been happening. However, I am undaunted by what has been happening, and will not let it interfere with my studies."

[Zera Gureen]

"Really now," said Zera,"If i recall the university paid some pretty good bribes to keep the public from knowing. How did you hear of it?"
