Neither of them spoke to their companion the entire walk to where they were going.

Eric shrugs a bit as they reach the theater, "Was it something I said?" he asked briefly.
Jen is still holding Adam's hand but drops it as they reach the carnival entrance, "What's gotten into you Adam Park?" she asked

Eric shrugs as they walk in and buying tickets and refreshments for them and getting them a pair of seats higher up.
Jen shrugs a bit before turning around to see three studs that were checking her out rather blatantly, "Hey hot stuff, you should come with us." "We'll show ya a good time." "And a good ferris ride.." And there she was in workout attire, faced against those three.

"Hey!" Adam said calmly. "Leave her alone, all right?" he asked the three guys.
Trini sat next to Eric, waiting for the movie to start. "What movie is this?" Trini asked Eric.

"Oh yeah? and what are you going to do about it punk?" "Yeah you have no place with this girl." "We'll take care of her real good.." the trio replied to Adam
"Some horror movie, since it was on short notice I couldn't properly book anything." Eric explained as he sat down next to her, not really scared.

"Oh. Well, hopefully it's not too bad," Trini said.
Adam put a hand to his forehead and sighed. "Why does everything have to end the hard way?" he asked before kicking one of the guys in the chest.

The other two came at him while the third one recovered and came at Adam as well.
Eric nods as the movie comes on, and he watched it with her. A clown came on the screen at one point.

Adam did a sweeping kick at all three of them, pushing them back some.
As if on instinct, Trini grabbed the closest thing to her, which happened to be Eric's arm.

The trio returns and tries to out-manuever Adam again, but after they get their butts kicked they run away saying they'll be back.
Jen crosses her arms under her chest. "Wow, that was pretty impressive." she said
Eric looks on before the killer is revealed...

"It's not that great, really," Adam replied modestly, rubbing the back of his head.
Trini continued to hold onto Eric's arm, shaking quite a bit.

Eric pulls Trini close into a hug, letting her draw on his strength for comfort.
Jen shrugs, "Well it was to me." she said, taking his hand and going into the carnival

Adam went in with Jen, his hand clasped around hers.
Trini was still shaking, though not as badly as she was a few seconds ago, as the movie continued to play out.

Eric looks on a bit, holding her close. "I could get used to this" he thought softly, his body memorizing details on its own...
Jen looked around a bit before finding a game where you throw balls and if you hit a target you win prizes...she saw a stuffed mastodon and decided to go for it.

Eventually, Trini calmed down enough, but continued to stay close to Eric.
Adam went with Jen to the carnival game. "How much is it for a game?" he asked the man at the game.
