Jen would follow up with several kicks from varying angles before on the last one she got caught by Trini, who could do a cool counter-manuever.
Eric also watched, smirking a little.

Trini dodged all the kicks except for the last one, which she caught with both hands. She then followed up by delivering another low kick to knock Jen off her remaining foot while letting go of the leg she grasped.

Jen landed hard on her back on the mat, and Eric nodded a little in approval at Trini
Then Jen got up, "You're pretty good Trini." She said.

Adam closed his eyes as Jen landed on the ground, and opened them a few seconds later.
Trini helped Jen up. "You're not so bad yourself, but that's probably from your training," she said, not wanting to bring up Time Force in a public place.

Jen nods a bit smiling, "Still, that was good." Then she turned around to see Eric and Adam, "Oh, when did you get here Eric?"
"Oh, few minutes ago, decided to watch the spar. Nice going by the way ladies." Eric replied.

Trini's face tinged red a little, and this time it was Adam's turn to smirk. Looks like the tide's in my favor once again, he thought.

Jen also noticed that and turned around to see Adam smirk, "...." she didn't say anything but shrugged a bit before tossing Trini a bottle of water and getting one herself

Jen took a sip and set it down, doing a long and flexible stretch before looking around a little, "Well, we do have a day to ourselves here in Angel Grove..."
"So we should think of something to do." Eric finished for her.

Adam was distracted by Jen's flexibility, but the moment Eric suggested they should find out something to do, Adam and Trini caught each other's eye, and the two were engaged in an epic staredown, each one trying to figure out what the other was thinking.

Jen stared a moment at the epic staredown, walking over to the counter and sitting down as Eric did the same, wondering what was going on but saying nothing.

"How about we go see a movie?" Trini suggested.
"There's a carnival in town, let's go to that!" Adam said at exactly the same time as Trini.

Eric jumped on it first, "Well, those are two awesome events now you two, and I know how we can maximize the downtime." After whispering his idea to Jen who shrugged and agreed with it, he spoke.
"I'll take the lady here to see the movie..." Eric said
"And I'll check out the carnival with him." Jen said indicating Adam, not much flirting in her tone because she was clueless about the little 'war'.

"!!" This was a serious blow to both Adam and Trini's plans. Neither of them were expecting this option to be used, and both didn't know how to handle that. So they just nodded in silence.
