"And neither are you...this reminds me of a time that I really hate...the first time I let myself fall in love with another ranger. He got killed for being so damn stubborn." she said, blasting a putty into bits, "Second time, I come back here...find his ancestor...need him to unlock the Chrono Morphers...and I let myself get soft and keep him on the team. Same damn thing happened....with just about the same result. Only this time, he didn't die, but went forward in time instead. So, honestly." she said, kicking back two Cyclobots before shooting a few more. "What do you know of my life as a Ranger and otherwise? It has quite simply, sucked! Heartbreak, not fitting in, you name it, I've experienced it. And now its happening again and I hate that it is...." she said, a single tear slipping from her eyes and nestling itself on the bottom of her helmet, contrasting itself with her tone of voice which was angry.

Adam had an empathetic look on his face under his helmet, but it quickly turned into alarm when he spotted a group of putties and cyclobots preparing to attack Jen. He went into action as he shot the first row, followed by smashing the others with his axe.

"And there it happens again, I get distracted...and all that." Jen said, sighing a bit under her helmet, clotheslining a few putties and cyclobots that were going after Adam with her V-weapon

Adam took out his Blade Blaster and began shooting the enemies with both weapons. "Who did that to you, anyway?" Adam asked.

"Two very...stupid....egotistical...." Jen said, dropping to one knee and shooting again before cancelling her V-weapon, "...naive...and stubborn Red Rangers." she said, her tone unabated.

"Those three word you used actually describe just about every red ranger I know, with a few exceptions," Adam said back, shooting down the last of the mooks.

Adan demorphed and he looked at Jen. "I'm sorry... For snapping at you, mostly."

Jen looked at him and let out a long sigh. "I'm sorry too...my outburst did kind of suck didn't it." she admitted before speaking,
"Power Down." then she returned to human form.

"Oof.." She said in surprise...but then she felt the intent of it...it was to comfort her...and despite being in just her workout attire around a rather handsome man...she hugged him back, resting her face against his shoulder.

Adam looked into Jen's eyes, and she could feel his heartbeat increasing rapidly as he did.

Jen sighed just a little, her chest moving against his as her heart felt like it was going to thud right out. Then she just looked into his eyes and licked her lips once before leaning in and kissing him on the lips..
