(This is one of two threads I'm going to make that should help me get rolling with this chara. It's set after the netherworld thread.)
The tear from the daemon world was forcibly ripped open by Nemeroth...and Titus was sent through by three of his hardest Chaos Marines, armed with Chainswords, pistols and power axes. Astartes stood alone against them again in an open field, only the trees on either side bearing witness to this new threat.
Astartes himself switched out a couple of Astro Mechanicus Switches, activating his shield and a chainsword of his own...and he launched himself at the first Marine, beginning the fight anew....

"What the H*ll are we doing?" Asked Laertes.
"We're having a picnic," Sakura replied.
Laertes and Conrad gave each other a look and then back to Sakura. Laertes preferred her when she was all depressed and a little sad. Stupid Ren and Yuki they'd made her ... girly.
Conrad looked behind him, he was sure that he'd heard something weird.

The shield held fast under the scraping of two chainswords begging to get through, as Titus arm-locked the third's sword arm and proceeded to remove it with deadly precision, the other function of the chainsword in addition to it being a blade.
Lesser humans would find the scene sickening, most likely, as Titus roared with a battle cry, pushing the twin chainswords back and kicking the wounded one down, before driving his chainsword through the heretic's chest.
Feeling instinctively that the remaining two Marines would hit him from the back, The Jump Pack on his back fired as Titus flew a short distance away, landing on the ground with a massive thud. The sound of two more jump packs firing would also be heard as Titus switched out the Chainsword switch for the Power Axe, summoning it to his side and bracing himself as he turned to gaze upon his enemies, raising his shield.

Sakura looked at Conrad, that time she'd heard something too. She shrugged and looked over to see ... something. A lot of whirring and three large people standing in the field and fighting.
The three looked at each other and then stood up before walking towards the fray.

Squaring his legs, Titus took the full brunt of the chainswords, skidding back through the grass. As they raised their bolt pistols to fire, he raised his power axe to absorb each shot, which would otherwise have hit him.
With a mighty roar, he pushed back, sending their feet skidding backwards in the grass...

And into the three Hathaway agents. Conrad and Sakura pushed one of them back while Laertes span around and kicked the ... whatever the f*ck it was in the head with his great big goth boot.
The three looked at each other. The red zombie ... things weren't actually moving.
"... Laertes!" Shouted Conrad.
"On it!" Laertes replied.
Sakura drew her chain out and whipped at the faces of the soldiers of chaos while her partners stepped back and perfectly synchronised activated their belts. Their armour hovered beside them and then snapped into place. Laertes using the golden III form soared forward, grabbed Sakura and shot off into the sky to get her away from whatever those monsters were.
That just left Conrad.
Sorry, that just left Conrad and his IV key. He clicked it in and the targetting eyepiece, and four gattling guns attaching themselves to his body. He waited for the two to get out of the way and then started shooting.

The twin Chaos Marines were distracted, but their corrupted power armor protected them from many of the hits, but it still distracted them. The humans, to Titus, were about Imperial Guardsman size and height, but they had armor of their own.
Titus switched out the shield and axe switches for the Jump Pack and Hammer switches, once again wielding the God-Splitter as he fired the pack's jets, soaring into the air, and letting out a roar as he came down feet first towards the two Chaos Marines...the humans had better clear out quick, lest they be caught...

Thankfully Conrad's secondary attachment included leg stabilisers so he wasn't thrown away, but he couldn't get away if the attack involved ...
Great, whatever happened when that blue rider landed Conrad couldn't get away without losing most of his defences. Laertes and Sakura meanwhile were soaring across the sky. He dropped the girl onto the grass and then dropped to the floor. Telling her to stay out of trouble before flying back towards the area ...

The ground shook with a loud boom as the Chaos Marines were split asunder, one of them being killed directly, the other landing on his back, but getting to his feet quickly. "For the Emperor." Titus said in his commanding voice, smashing the last power-armored marine in the chest, leveling him again, before smashing his helmet in with the powerful daemon hammer.
The corpses of the servants of Chaos vanished in a dissipating haze of Warp fire...and he turned back towards the tear, intending to go back through and seal it from the other side.

Laertes soared back down through the air and landed in front of the big blue guy, standing up and aiming his cog shooter at him.
"Okay, answers, what the f*ck just happened!?" He asked "I saw a big flash and that's it, what happened?"

Titus almost chuckled at how insignificant the cog shooter looked from his point of view, but said nothing on that part. "Forces beyond your comprehension have been at work here, Terran." he said simply. "Those were servants of Chaos...their influence corrupts the weak-minded, and turns them into a waste of mankind's promise. I, quite simply, kill them, and have prevented another attempt to invade this world."

The two Hathaway agents looked at each other and then Laertes cocked his gun.
"You probably don't know who we are, and that's alright," Laertes said "But, if you don't start talking straight right now then we'll just have to take you in for questioning and get straight answers later,"

"Talking straight? I wonder what you know of inter-dimensional tears from the daemon world into this one? I am willing to talk, but if you wish to test me in battle, then that is your choice." Titus replied, still having the mighty daemonhammer in his possession.

"Whether I can or not, is not the issue. But consider your next actions carefully." Titus warned sagely, not moving an inch, but inwardly he was ready to stop offensive motions towards him, but not kill.
