Jack looked at him. "Hang on so are you ..." He glanced at Thomas "Okay, if there's any bio-electricity running through your nerves then, let's be honest, you'll probably cease to die but ... if you are just, completely dead and animated by magic then -" He smiled "There's a chance this might work ..."

"Well, um, before you start sticking things inside me and electrifying me....I'm not entirely sure on that. I mean, i think I'm dead....sorta. I'm a mix of the man born Robin Jarvis and Barghest. But Robin had to die for that to happen. So in a way, this body died."

"Ah ... that makes it more complicated," Jack admitted "Well, we have some other stuff, like ... this!"
He excitedly pulled a sheet of paper from under his arm and spread it out on the table. "Okay, this one basically makes your bones ... razor sharp and burst out of your skin," He explained "We tried it on a few volunteers but ... well all their bones burst out of their skin and they died, but since you can already do that with your gun ..."

Robin looked up at Jack.
"You need to work on your presentation skills. That or maybe you could get a better R&D."
He frowns at the schematics.
"That's looks painful."

"Probably both, since you've just said that you're dead, it means that half the stuff we know that actually works without killing someone might not work on you," Jack sighed "Back to square one I guess ..."

"Well ... kind of," He looked at Thomas and then at Kenneth "We test them on Orphnoch volunteers, but ... it doesn't go to well,"

"So it causes horrible death for people that have died once...." he picks up his tray of food "I'm not sure if this is a great idea...."

"Okay, okay, forget the implant weapons," Jack decided, rolling the pieces of paper up and throwing them at the bin. "Is there anything that you think you need as the Barghest that you don't already have?"

"Well, those cans are pretty cool. But like I said before - I'm only good against undead. I would like to be able to go toe-to-toe with other enemies."
"Like Worms and the like."

Worm ... Worms could travel at super speed, Barghest was fast but not overly so. Kenneth raised a hand. "Just a suggestion," He said "Something I'm throwing out there, but you know you were trying to create a super-speed modification," Jack looked at his son blankly.
"You know, the Faiz prototype-" "Test type," Jack corrected. "Thankyou father ..." He took a second to regain his train of thought "But you wanted that super-speed mode, the Accel form," "Go on ..." Jack said. "Could we find a way to make him super-fast? So he could fight a worm? Or a ZECT rider?" Kenneth offered, waiting for any comment on his idea.

"That's sounds interesting. It could give me some needed edge." he picks at his stir fry "When that Worm clocked up i couldn't do a single thing against it."
Except when I changed. he focuses on destroying his vegetables.

"That's a brilliant idea!" Jack agreed, wolfing down some of his food. "We should try that next time we're at the headquarters,"

"Sounds good." Robin finished his meal and wiped his hands. He stopped mid wipe and looked at Jack "Please tell me none of you test subjects disintegrated because their molecules sped into oblivion...."

"No, no that one's worked quite well," He said "I think someone sprained their ankle tripping over something but that's about it ..."
