Outer Stuff
Face Claim: Aya Endo
Height: 64"
Weight 115lbs
Hair color: Silver [so it'd be a wig or a dye-job on the face-claim]
Hair style: Short; just past her ears. Parted either side of her face.

Accessories:A single clip earring in her right ear, and an old, worn ring on her left middle finger.

Inner Stuff
Likes:
- Her well-fed, cream-coloured cat Roku; the cat is her lifelong companion.
- Emotional and innocent people. Mostly from a curiosity point of view; she likes to observe such people.
- People who can play the role of a superhero. It comes off as a little awkward when she tries it, so she's looking to improve on that.
Dislikes:
- Winging it. Unfortunately, this clashes with her strength of learning things on the fly; it irritates her a little that she always wants to plan ahead, but winds up succeeding through luck.
- Zippers. To her, they seem like a fake substitue for buttons.
- Idiots and time-wasters.
Strengths:
- Exercise. She takes regular runs and practices martial arts.
- Learning things on the fly. Most of her techniques were picked up in the middle of a fight rather than through practice, and she usually passes tests through cramming and all-nighters.
- Playing the straight man. Like it or not, her ability to keep a good poker-face and quickly correct people make her a natural tsukkomi.
Weaknesses:
- Cooking. Being terrible at it, she subsists almost entirely on things that can be bought ready-to-eat and whatever others cook for her.
- Making friends. Her priority is to be unremarkable and make few waves, which doesn't lend itself well to socialising.
- Since she doesn’t have a partner to use the Double Driver with, she doesn’t have the same benefit of backup as W does, and likewise has more difficulty adapting to new Memories.
Goal(s):
- To find out about her parents, and to become a hero of the people.
Habits/ Quirks:
- She draws a little picture of everyone she meets, but they're not any good.
Relationships:
- Her parent are both absent and largely unknown; she has lived on her own [with the cat] for much of her life.
- She has a few school friends who can put up with her. They're mostly the loveable fool type, and they get on surprisingly well.
Overview:
One of the more factually-intelligent members of any group she joins. Consistently achieves high grades. Likely to pick up on pop culture/manga references simply by dint of general knowledge. Good at drawing figures, and at sports that require strategy and thinking.
Has a light interest in television shows and manga, though doesn't buy much at all. Often the ‘straight man’. Little obvious emotional response to jokes or jibes. Despite her intelligence, she is almost preternaturally bad at cooking, to the point that even touching something that is cooking well will cause it to consistently fail. Dearly wishes she could correct people when they get something wrong. Curious of peoples' emotional and innocent nature when it occurs.

History
Mikan doesn't know the circumstances that caused it, but her parents left her life before she was old enough to remember anything about them, leaving her with only the name Sasaki. Much of her youth after that, until about the age of 12, is a blur. She knows from official records that she was found as a baby with some rudimentary nametag or note that identified her as Sasaki, and thereafter passed between foster homes, orphanages and [presumably, in the gaps where there are no records] homelessness. This period likely accounts for the scarring. Her reliable memories begin when an unknown stranger picked her up and installed her in a small single-person apartment in Fuuto, leaving her with a Driver, two GaiaMemories, and a phone.
The next-door neighbour, a female teacher at a local high school, had been instructed by the same stranger to keep an eye on her. Through the phone, the stranger made an unusual offer; Mikan would be paid for defeating Dopant. She was free to use the device to pursue her own goals aside from that, or refuse it outright. She chose, for the most part, to go along with it, especially after the stranger revealed one year later that her parents were involved with GaiaMemories. This apparently constituted a 'birthday present' of sorts; on the same date every year, the stranger sent other gifts, such as other GaiaMemories or, once, a Driver that allowed the use of two Memories at once.
[/li][li]Mikan's first set of equipment consisted of the IceAge Memory and a Lost Driver. Thus, for a while there we had a 12-year-old girl running around acting as Kamen Rider IceAge beating up Dopants for money. [And yes, she did lose a fair bit but managed to get the hang of it in the end.]
[/li][li]She recieved the TRex Memory [her first 'dinosaur' memory] at the same time as her Replica W Driver. This likewise, took some getting used to before she figured out the knack to balancing the power right.
[/li][li]Mikan has used the TRexRaptor form once before. No matter how much she were to practice it, controlling the form is impossible alone, and so it always functions as a 'berserker mode' that she's decided to use only as a weapon of last resort. The only way to stop her is to knock her out.
[/li][li]She still keeps the Lost Driver around [ostensibly as a backup] but her benefactor [who might probably be Shroud] secretly installed another function in her Lost Driver- if a very specific sequence of conditions are followed, it can be used to 'designate' a second person as the 'other Half' for the Replica W Driver's purposes.
[/li][li]The sequence is as follows: First, Mikan must don the Replica W Driver and the other person the Lost Driver. Then, Mikan must slot the TRex Memory in place in the left bracket, and the other person must slot the Meteor Memory in the Lost Driver. [It must be these specific memories; it's set up so they're the 'Keys' to this process.] The right slot of the W Driver must be empty. Then, both participants must open the Drivers and attempt Henshin simultaneously. It will fail, but the Lost Driver will morph into a second W Driver and teleport Meteor to the Replica W Driver. Mikan must then close the W Driver, open it again, and Henshin. She will transform into MeteorTRex and the other person will fall unconscious; at this point the procedure is finalised. The second W driver will vanish when she changes back, and from that point on the second person will take the Meteor, IceAge and Virus Memories and act as Mikan's 'Soul' half.
[/li][li] 'Sasaki' is her actual family birth name. 'Mikan' may not be.

Tch.
School had only just let out, and yet Mikan had already found out what was going to occupy her for the next half-hour. A procession of strange-looking youths had run past the school, with an obvious sort of demeanour and stench about them. That swagger which a person had when they'd recently been deluded into thinking they were superhuman. In essence, another human mess to be removed.
I don't have any friends or family, so nobody will miss me.
Mikan set to tailing the group at a distance. Once they were clear from the school and the curious groups of students, all craning necks and snapping camera phones trying to get a better look at this delinquent gang, as if they were interesting. They were headed down the highway, doubtless to whatever back alley or abandoned insert-building-name-here they used as a hideout.
I don't have any jobs or hobbies, so I have all the time I need.
It was an old car park, in the end, but other than that she'd called it. There were half a dozen of them, youths that had dropped out of school by the looks of them, although it was possible their uniforrm code was just really lax. They stood in a circle with unusual solemness for delinquents, so Mikan decided to take a closer look and see if her suspicions were correct. They did seem to be taking out GaiaMemories... mass-produced Memories seemed to be all over the place on the streets lately. The whole situation irritated her, but on the plus side, venting those irritations was easy.
I'm not connected to this world at all, and ultimately worth little to it.
'BEANS'
Six GaiaMemories sounded off in a chorus which made Mikan double-take. Beans? They were getting excited over those? Must have got a box of them cheap. They wouldn't be worth much, in that case, but it was something. Sighing, she stood from her hiding place and walked closer to the group.
'Afternoon. May I ask you something quickly?'
They turned to look at her, surprise quickly turning into amusement. She didn't seem like a threat to them at all, clearly.
'You can piss off, girl.'
Irritating. She pressed on, regardless. It always paid to ask.
'Does the name Sasaki ring any bells? Would any of your superiors know?'
'Superiors?' One of them snorted. 'We got no superiors here, girl. Forget that.'
'Ohh, so you're not part of some important group then.' She shrugged. 'If you're not even footsoldiers, then I'm done talking to you. Activate your Memories, then, and we'll get his over with.'
'Say what?' The one who was evidently the ringleader snorted again. 'You picking a fight?'
'No, just exercise. People like you irritate me.'
The 'secret hideout' lit up green briefly, as the gang transformed. Their heads became smooth, round and green, and their skin a similar colour.
'Beans... I'm not sure what that even does.' Mikan took a red device from her bag, and held it in front of her waist. It clamped into place securely. The Bean-heads stood still, clearly ready for a fight but unsure what she was doing. Then, one at the back caught on.
'Hey... wait. That's a... this girl, she's...'
Mikan flipped the Memories out of her pockets, calmly slotting them into place and opening the belt buckle.
'ICE AGE'
'T REX'
'Henshin.' Mikan replied quietly. Energy erupted from the belt, swirling around her as armour plates crawled across her body, locking into place. Pure white, sleek armour slid over her right side, cool to the touch, while jagged, bony-looking plates sprang into life over her left. Her helmet closed over her head as a stylised image of a T-Rex skull swam into view on her left breast.
'ICE AGE T REX'
Mikan's body language changed dramatically, as she stood with her feet planted firmly and hands balled into fists.
'Come on. Don't waste any more of my time than you have to.'
'Roku, I'm home.'
The fat cat looked up from Mikan's pillow, eyed her casually, then put his head back down. Mikan sat down beside him, scratching behind his ear anyway.
'No, I'm not that late today. It was easier than I thought this afternoon. Maybe... I'll find some more useful ones tomorrow.' She smiled a little. 'But I did a little work today, so I'll get you some of the nice food tomorrow...'
