Date fired while Gotou rushed forward at Ankh's back, energy blast and drill ready.

Ankh had both hands clasped around Vengeance's armblade, leaving his back open as his wings exploded into a rain of scarlet feathers. He growled and let go of Terui before rolling to the side. His eyes darted around for a moment before they settled on the boy. In the crouch he jumped up and made a mad charge for the Purple Greeed.

"Focus your attacks!" Gotou shouted, using his Crane and Drill combo to lash the Drill out, while Date continued to fire his focused attack, while Terui took a handful of Cells from a bike, his arm rippling into a fleshy cannon. He fired all of the Medals for Ankh as well.
The boy, in the front, lifted a hand to attempt to destroy Ankh by destroying desire.
Feel free to have Ankh just like rip the kid open to get the Medals you want him to have. His body would repair and continue as a host.

Ankh cried out - It was like fighting a blizzard. Still he continued to slowly progress through the storm that the Greeed was making. He could barely feel the Kougami Foundation's attacks as he fought against the Purple Greeed, outstretching a hand as a few weak flames appeared in it.

The boy continued to exert influence against Ankh, attempting to stop the Greeed; kill it. However, Ankh was overpowering the ability to destroy desire, somehow.
How was that possible? How?

Ankh suddenly felt different. The world around him became brighter and crisper for a moment and sound rang cleanly through his air for just a moment. He was caught by the Purple Greeed's power for just a moment and he fell back a few metres before he used his wings to gain leverage. He continued trying to near the Greeed but he was beginning to weaken.

The Purple Cores were finally having success. Soon, very soon, this desire would be smothered and destroyed.

Ankh's form faltered again and a thin layer of Cells dissolved and he changed into his human form, desperately reaching out with his left hand, clutching his heart with the other. His Cores were dying already.

A faint image overtook the boy, showing a full Greeed form. The Medals were finally gaining control; they had destroyed enough desire to be able to begin to take on the form of Giru.
Soon; if Ankh died, then he would be fully born to destroy all desire.

Ankh was a few inches away from the boy and the pain was unbearable.
He gave in to death, abandoning all thoughts of devouring it. He would accept it now... He was a Greeed and he cast away his being.

What was this Greeed doing? It was as if this entity of desire had just...given up desire? It...what?
Giru was vulnerable in that moment.

Ankh's eyes flashed open, glowing red. Had he just? He was alive! He turned, changing into his Greeed form as he preformed a vicous vertical spinning kick with his Condor legs.
