Not The Best Of Days [New Den-O;ALL HEISEI RIDERS]

[Eiji Hino]

(Let me elaborate: If your rider is a Heisei-Era Rider, or is based on a Heisei-Era Rider, he or she is free to join in on the hilarity that's about to ensue.)

Eiji Hino was walking around the city, counting the money he had earned from today's job, in addition to looking for a hotel he could stay at. The money was in another pair of underwear that he always carried around with him. "This should be enough for me to stay somewhere for the night," he said to himself, folding up the boxers and pocketing it.

[Adam Jonas]

"Remind me again why we're in Japan." Teddy asked as Adam and he walked down the street.

"It's GameFest this week, and I wouldn't miss that for the world, despite what Sam thinks." Adam replied. "And stop scratching that body."

"I can't help it. It's itchy." Teddy protested, scratching the shoulders of the homeless man whose body he was inhabiting. As the pair walked, they passed by Eiji, and Adam felt Teddy hold his breath, and he adjusted his hat.

[Eiji Hino]

Eiji felt something in his pocket move, and he took out his Imagin Medal. It seemed to be reacting to the men that passed by him not too long ago. "What are you doing now?!" he asked it as it tried to fly out of his hand.

[Adam Jonas]

Teddy gasped. "Did you feel that, Adam?" he asked hopefully.

"Feel what?" Adam asked in reply.

"I could have sworn I felt another Imagin around here." Teddy replied. "It was coming from the guy we walked past."

"But he wasn't leaking sand like most Imagin do when they possess people." Adam noted.

[Eiji Hino]

Eiji continued to try and hold the medal back, but it flew out of his hand and repeatedly began rapping teddy on the head.

[Adam Jonas]

"Ow ow ow owie! Get it off!" Teddy groaned as the medal rapped him across the head.

"Okay, hang on." Adam unzipped his bag and pulled out a copy of D&D 4th Edition's rulebook. "Stay still." And he attempted to swipe the medal away, but only clobbered Teddy on the head, who was knocked out of his vessel and collapsed onto the ground.

"Oh my god, Teddy! Are you okay?" Adam helped the blue Imagin to his feet.

[Eiji Hino]

The medal continued to hit Teddy until Eiji got a hold of it, and he jammed it into his pocket. "S-sorry about that!" he said.

[Adam Jonas]

"Don't worry about it. It's cool." Adam got Teddy to his feet. "Anyway, why was that coin attacking my...blue friend here?"

[Max Taggart]

Max was sat at a table in a coffee house along the street. He sipped his drink as he browsed the BBC News website for any unexplained occurences that might be Overlord attacks back home, but he found none.

It had been about a week since he managed to access Shining Form and his new found mental completeness. He could feel all the power of his Burning Form welling up inside him, but now it was calm, tranquil, balanced. He was now a true master of his powers and his destiny. He would forever protect those he loved from the demons of the universe.

Speaking of his loved ones. He still hadn't worked up the courage to contact his family or his girlfriend, Candice. He was afraid of what might happen and needed to man up a little before trying. Maybe he should just turn up on her doorstep back home. Knowing Candice, she would probably kick his arse for being out of contact for so long, and then give him the silent treatment for about a week before a bout of make up sex, then forgiveness.

He sighed. He may be one of the most powerful and god-like beings on the planet, but he still had a lot to learn.

He looked out the window and noticed the spectacle unfolding. He saw a blue monster jumping from the body of a homless-looking man and he sprang up from his seat.

"Overlord?" he gasped questioningly wondering why his highly acute Agito instincts hadn't alerted him to its presence before he ran out side and began to slowly approach the beast

[Ryotarou Nogami]

[Here's a bit of Den-O-esque humour, I suppose.]

"I'm telling you!" Momotaros repeated. "Something stinks of pudding and Imagins!"

"Demo..." Naomi interjected. "You just had pudding and we've got Ryuta, Kintaros and Urataros right beside you."

"That didn't count! That had been in the fridge for four weeks!" Momotaros argued.

"We're in the Sands of Time, it's not been there for a week." Naomi interjected.

"No wonder you're still young." Momtoros snapped.

The room went silent.

Even as Ryotarou parked the train and walked into the dining car no-one had spoken.

"Below the belt." Urataros said in stilted English.

"Ryotarou!" Momtoros shouted. "Out of the way!"

Ryotarou turned to find a very angry Naomi charging at Momotaros with a whisk and a frying pan.

"Eeehhh?' He exclaimed as a frying pan connected with his nose.

Ryotarou sighed as he sipped coffee, an ice pack held to his face. He slowly peelled the ice pack off and walked out of the DenLiner, appearing out in the city.

[Eiji Hino]

"I dunno," Eiji said. "It just started reacting to it... Though the medal came from a thing like him," he explained, referring to Teddy.

[Kakeru Daishori]

Yet again in Japan, Kakeru was, for once, only back home for a small vacation, and not for business as usual. Sitting atop the roof of a small building in town, doing nothing but relaxing. That was, until someone interjected. "Kakeru, I smell something. Some form of Kaijin, I think Imagin, and a Core Medal, maybe more. We should investigate." Azo said, in his usual emotionless tone. "Now now, no need to get worked up." Kakeru chuckled, before continuing. "I'll check it out. But I'm going to do it casually. Don't wanna draw attention to myself."

[Zack Clapton]

Zack sat in the coffee house, taking a sip of his coffee while looking at a newspaper. All of a sudden, he noticed something out of the corner of his eye. A blue creature, standing in the street next to, what seemed like, a dead, or at least unconscious, body. Ah crap, he thought as he put down his coffee and folded up his paper. He put his hand into his pocket, grabbing hold of his driver. He put down the paper and picked back up the coffee as he got out of his seat and made his way to the door. I really hope this guy isn't out to cause mayhem, he thought, leaning against a wall, taking another sip of coffee and keeping the creature in view.

[Adam Jonas]

"Imagin, actually." Teddy said as Max approached him.

"I think you jumping out of this guy's body's gonna give us a lot of unwanted attention." Adam whispered to Teddy, then turned back to Eiji."Sorry, what did you say your name was?"

[Eiji Hino]

"Eiji Hino," he responded simply.
