"No, just facts...and gut instinct." Kiba said. Oh how little she knew....her presence was a boon to him for reasons he couldn't explain...her scent...well....that was almost intoxicating...there was so much more he could sense...and yet it was almost like a two-edged sword to him.

Now Sakura was really blushing, "You're only flattering me" she said with a slight smile though inside she was still uncomfortable with a male stranger hitting on her...she just wasn't ready for that yet.

Kiba just leaned back a little, "My apologies...you asked and I answered truthfully. No flattery." he said, having apologized for going a little too fast as well but that's when he felt something...something nearby.

Sakura was oblivious to the danger and she simply smiled while looking away from him, she wondered if she could give him a chance, she already confessed that she had already loved Jasmine and she did; but could she give this guy just a shot at having a relationship with her? She didn't know and she debated this internally.

The Orphenoch who had moved silently, let loose a blue flaming arrow at Sakura without her knowledge from his bow. Kiba saw it coming and quickly moved in front, taking the arrow in the back just above the shoulder as he protected Sakura without thinking twice.
Then he looked down at her, and turned around, changing into his Horse Orphenoch form and charging the other Orphenoch, getting into a very spirited bout with them as blue fire radiated from his shoulder.

Sakura gasped in surprise as she was thrown to the ground while Kiba was hit by the arrow, she hadn't been aware of the situation and Kiba had been injured as a result of it. Now she looked on as Kiba fought with the other Orphenoch.

Kiba grappled with the other Orphenoch and twisted one arm to the side, blocking attempts to elbow him in the face before headbutting the Orphenoch in the back of the head. Then he turned him around, delivering a vicious chop to the chest followed by a slap to the face, momentarily stunning the opponent and allowing Kiba to summon his blade and slash him several times before that blade was blocked by the bow and their battle continued, blue fire still working on his shoulder...

Sakura was still too shocked to move yet, her body wouldn't react to the danger, however her mind was insisting that she moved and help Kiba but that won't be for another while.

"Horse" Kiba punches the bow aside as his blade goes away for a moment, kicking the Orphenoch in the stomach before running and bouncing off of a tree and coming back, delivering an axe-kick to the back of his head.

Sakura body was then able to move and she quickly went to a hiding place, her suit wasn't suited to fighting Orphenochs...she needed more help and unfortunately she forgot her communicator so all she had to depend on was Kiba.

Kiba's bare projection appeared in his shadow, "I will protect...and they will never kill me." he said, hauling off and hitting the Orphenoch square across the jaw before yelling out as he assumed the more powerful Charger Form.

Sakura simply stared at Kiba as he charged at the Orphenoch while at the same time wondering how powerful Kiba is as an Orphenoch.

This battle cry only enraged the Orphenoch as he charged forward, but Kiba clotheslined him...and again when he got back up, jumping away a little. Kiba then, in one full move, scoop-slammed the Orphenoch to the ground, and then backed up a few steps...sizing him up as the enemy got to his feet....
