She can be cold towards new people...she went through a harrowing ordeal that involved her father, and Makai Knight business about a year ago. Then, I was my father, the previous Silver Fang's, support....and I was there for her. Then...she was there for me when the same thing that happened to her father, happened to mine."

"I'm sorry to hear that," Retsu said softly. He had never known his father that well; another trained him, raised him, for his duty. But he had slain Yui's father, whom had treated him like a son, due to his affiliation to Yui. Not a close son; but a son.

Rose shrugged a bit. He didn't seem to fit her type anyway....not that she would be looking. Damn the Watchdogs and their rules, she thought bitterly.

Yuuga had no Horrors nearby anymore. He continued to walk as Izeekel directed him, feeling...something.
He opened his lighter as he reached a cave. Holding it up for light, the flames leapt out, dancing along the walls, igniting torches. He walked in, looking around.
"I don't like it here," Yuuga said, "It's...hard to breathe."
"I know," Izeekel said, "But keep going."
So he did.

Sonoko had secretly followed him, Yuuga had been regularly going out now, almost nightly to deal with the rise of Horrors; Sonoko herself had been busy with the Fangires but they hadn't been increasing. As she followed Yuuga she found it harder to breath but kept going to watch her lover.

He slowed and turned around, just...feeling her. There was something about this place that felt a certain way, and she felt another way completely. He turned to see her, "Sonoko-chan...you shouldn't be here. This is an evil place..."
