Hmmmm, I have an idea that ties into the Psycho-SHOCKER idea.

James Ingram/ Kamen Rider Strike Sonnet
In this universe, Arthur Ingram's great grandfather wasn't a psychopath who killed loads of people, but a simple soldier who disappeared while battling against the Nazi's occult division who were trying to summon an army of Imagin to fight the Allies.

He vanished into the time stream and took out a lot of Berlin in the process.

Then he came back 65 years later with a mysterious belt and four Imagin; The revenge driven Hamlet, the boastful and ambitious Macbeth, the laidback (And slightly pervy) Benedick and the depressed, forlorn Romeo.
(Granting him the Rapier, Hammer, Knife and Gun forms)

He had successfully vanquished the remaining Elite SS troops and their Imagin partners from out of time but he'd come back to a world overrun by Psycho-SHOCKER. So now he's followed them through time, wanting nothing more than to defeat them and find a way to return his world back to normal.
