Her body is still and lifeless. Nothing remains of the woman who was Amazon.
Azrael descended upon the arena and shook his head. "She's gone Ezekiel."

Ezekiel wasn't listening, he was just pushing down on her chest, trying to keep the blood in.
"Amazon! Amazon! Wake up!" He yelled, his labcoat's wrists covered in red.
"... She's dead ..." He "accepted" after a good minute or two. He looked up at Azrael "Bring her back!"

Azrael shakes his head. "I could put life back into her body but it would not be her. Her soul is gone, half consumed by the spirit of Famine and half within Decade's deck."
He brings himself down to the floor so that Ezekiel need not look up towards him. "They bring nothing but pain and suffering in their wake. This is why they must be destroyed."

Ezekiel looked up. Normally you'd expect to see tears, but not crimson ones dribbling down his cheeks, emanating from blacked out eyes. He nodded, swallowing a little and then cleared his throat, clutching Amazon to his body.
"Okay ..." He said, for once, glad of the burnt out eyes. They weren't giving him away.
"You b*st*rd ..."
"Alright I'll help you ..."
"How dare you take our bodies, how dare you turn is into monsters ..."
"I'll help you annihilate every last rider in the world ..."
"... and then deny us eternal rest ..."
"I am your soldier forevermore ..."
Ezekiel gently laid the body of Amazon down and then knelt down on one knee, put a hand across his chest and bowed his head.
"... I will kill you Azrael,"

"Very good." Azrael nods towards Ezekiel unaware of the full extent of his desire for vengeance. Oh he knows well that all three remaining Horsemen intention to do away with him and Amazon's death would only further their resolve to betray him but not quite like that.
Danny makes his way over to the cage. "Some dopant in the crowd got the bright idea to call the cops when Decade and Ezekiel started shooting the mob. While I'm sure we could take care of them I'd rather not draw that much attention to ourselves."
"Of course." Azrael says in agreement to Danny as he opens a portal back to the Catherdral.
