Inside Stuff
Personality: Max is an out spoken, yet caring individual. He is very proud and is not afraid to show it to his peers. He will never back down from a fight and will go out of his way to protect even complete strangers from his foes even if it puts his own safety in jeopardy.
Max is very loyal to his friends and allies and will do whatever it takes to cheer someone up. Max is a firm believer in destiny, and believes that it is his own destiny to protect those who cannot protect themselves even if it means the cost of his own life in the process.
He learned to cook from his mother and is always in the kitchen at home, experimenting with new, tasty recipies. His coking is comparable with that of a Michelin star chef, which he hopes to become one day.
When not in the kitchen, he is always tuning up his bike or racing it round a local race track to burn off steam.

History:It was Max's father, Daniel Taggart, who gifted him the powers he now possesses. He had noticed something strange going on with his father all his life. He trained Max, day in, day out in various martial arts techniques, and often brutal focus and mental stamina exercises. Until one day he decided to find out what was going on and followed him. Unwittingly he had followed his father to a battle with one of the strongest foes he had ever faced. Left for dead by the monster, Max rushed to his father's side who, with his last breath, gifted his Seed of Agito to his son to help protect him and to continue the fight where his father had left off.
Things were difficult at first. His father had only managed to access Storm and Flame form of his powers (and on just one occasion trinity form, which left him greatly fatigued for days), meaning the Agito powers were undeveloped. However, Max carried on, trying his hardest to master his skill over his new abilities. All along, Daniel knew he would probably not be long for this world, so he trained his unknowing son in various martial arts techniques an mental exercises that would help him use his new powers once it was time for him to pass the torch to his son.
Max's mother was the only person who knew about his fathers abilities and passed on some instructions on how to use the Agito powers left to him in his father's will. Max now continues to fight the good fight for his father and for the human race.
Currently, Max is studying chemistry at University, and his powers and compelling instinct to fight the Overlords makes his social life very difficult. He is madly in love with one of his friends, Candice Mitchell, who never seems to have any interest in him other than friendship which greatly saddens Max. She has recently discovered Max's powers and is deathly afraid of this new side to her friend, further drifting them apart much to Max's dismay. Perhaps one day she will see the real him and accept his place as this worlds defender, but only time wll tell.
Max sees his father'd gift as a curse. It seems to be ruining his life, but he will not falter. He was given these powers for a reason and untill that reason reveals itself, Max will continue to fight for justice and truth against the monsters who call themselves "Overlords".

"...and that is how a covalent bond is formed in this molecule." Droned on Max's lecturer in his latest Organic chemistry lecture.
Max was bored. He didn't even know why he was here on this course at the local university. He just didn't care for the subject and was only here because his mother wanted him to be successful. He sighed and began to drum at his note book with the end of his pen when he got a twinge in his head.
He looked up startled and made for the door. That twinge was the bane of his existence right now as it signalled the presence of a rampaging Overlord. He left all of his things behind and let his Agito instincts drive his actions as he made his way to the University square in the middle of campus.
"Why now?" he thought as he ran towards the increasingly loud screams of terror.
The Overlord in question was tearing up the square. Laying waste to trees and littering the floor with bodies of its latest victims, laughing all the way as its blade sliced through the humans lucky enough to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Just then it sensed something and removed its sword from the new corpse before slowly turning round to see Max standing there staring him down, eyes full of anger at what the Overlord had done.
He made his signature arm movements and the Alter ring appeared around his waist. As he began to breathe deeply the belt began to make its mysterious powering up noises before...
"HENSHIN!!!" Max yelled and slammed his palms down onto the belt switches.
A blinding light erupted from the crystal in the centre and the Overlord rushed to cover its eyes as Max once again, became Agito. The light subsided to reveal his armour and the fear striking mask adorning his face.
"A...GEEE....TOOO!!!!" the Overlord bellowed before rushing at him with his blade extended.
Max quickly pressed the right switch on his belt. His golden armour became a crimson colour and his right arm similarly transformed before he pulled at the sword hilt protruding from his belt buckle. Max drew the Flame Saber in time to clash with the Overlord's sword.
Max parried all of his foes hits before finally getting in a few himself, knocking back the injured Overlord who staggered back to his feet, shaking with fear before dropping his sword. The crest on the flame saber opened and a second sword appeared in Max's other hand and they both became ablaze.
"DOUBLE SABER SLASH!!!!!!!" Max bellowed before delivering the finishing blow to the defeated monster.
The bright halo appeared over its head before it exploded in a beacon of light. Max sighed and reversed the transformation.
"Another day, another dollar" he mumbled before making his way back to his already finished class to collect his things only to spot Candice, his love interest, peering from behind a pillar.
"Candice? How much did you see?" Max said sternly
"E...E...Everything..." She stuttered, clutching Max's bag after having collected his things for him before following him out of the lecture. Max was always randomly disappearing from various places to do God knows what, so Candice was determined to find out what he was up to.
"...w...what....are you?" she said as she slowly began to back away from her friend as he closed in on her. Once he got to close, she dropped his bag and ran, afraid of the new person she saw before her.
"Candice, WAIT!!!" Max yelled in vain as she sped up
He wasn't her friend in her eyes any more....he was a monster.
