"Me neither, I thought they'd be using an artefact not a real living person," Arthur muttered.

The other rangers come to join them. "That's unusual."
Harriet looks the girl over for a few moments before trying to blast her with hellfire to see her reaction.

The girl screams out as the Hellfire hits her but seems unharmed. She falls forward panting heavily and shuddering and then looks up and launches another blast of energy from her eye.

"Arthur, is your suit magical in nature?" Harriet asks Arthur as she dodges the green blast.

"Well that depends on your definition of "magic"," Arthur replied from the far wall as blasts of green shot down the hallway "I prefer to think of it as particularly advanced technology, but I suppose that can be true o-" Another blast hit near his feet and he jumped back, hugging the wall "Yes! It's magic! Why?"

"I was hoping you could hit the chains without making her stronger." Harriet explained throwing up a wall of hellfire to catch the next couple of blasts, it would either fall in a few seconds of be absorbed by the crucified laser girl but it would give her a moment to think.

"I'll try!" He said, he was in Macbeth form it should be easy ... easier anyway. He ran forward jumped at the girl and slashed two of the chains sending her sprawling to the ground with a THUMP. Arthur grinned behind the helmet and looked at Harriet. Then he heard a crack, and another crack and a lot more. He frowned and looked around to see the girl change into some kind of crystal lizard person. Why couldn't something go right for once? He cracked his knuckles turned around and then his armour dissolved ... turned out that the driver was magic after all ...

"Don't get too close." Harriet warns the other rangers as she blasts a stack of boxes behind the lizard with hellfire hoping to knock them over on top of it.

"I noticed, thanks!" Arthur shouted as the monster threw one of the still burning boxes at him. He scrambled backwards and looked at the Fallen Rangers "Um ... I think you guys might have to deal with it ..."

"We can't touch it either. It takes the magic right out from under us." Larry says in a panic.
"We got to lure it back upstairs. It might not like us but it had to be chained up. Harriet says as she starts climbing up to the gaping hole in the ceiling.
"So it probably doesn't like them either."

The monster growls slowly and then begins following Harriet slowly, curious as to what's upstairs. It makes an odd clicking sound and then leaps up at her ...

Harriet kicks the lizard as it jumps at her up onto the main floor into a horde of Samurai Zombies. Contact with the monster causes her suit to dissipate but if she's right it might not matter in a minute.
