"If they don't have a Rider or Rangers they are little more than cannon fodder. I am not watching anyone die who doesn't have to. They can sit this battle out." Alan says shaking his head.

"But we need all the help we can muster," He explained "We can muster enough weapons to arm nearly everyone,"

Alan gritted his teeth but nodded. "We'll do this your way for now but one condition. Arthur maintains amnesty from your people until we have dealt with Mantis. I catch so much as a rumour that you are moving against him before every single demon in this country is dead and it's over."

"Um ... thanks," Arthur said. "Of course," Tybalt said, extending a hand.

"I'm not done with either of you but we got bigger fish to fry." Alan sighs looking at Arthur and Martain before taking Tybalt's hand and shaking it.

"... Um ... we didn't kill her," Arthur said pointing at the dead Jennifer Banquo.

"No, that I could have understood. You crossed a line with her, making us no better than them. We're supposed to be the good guys. We're not perfect but..." Alan sighed and turned away from everyone.
"Take him back to the safehouse. I'll join you shortly."

Tybalt nodded.
Arthur sighed and looked at Martain and then at the dead body. "Okay, let's go," He sighed.

Alan climbs his way back to the surface to do a quick patrol of the area.
***
"Yeah let's go." Martain says with a nod and leads Tybalt back towards the safehouse.
"So why didn't you take her out yourself?"

"She's too well guarded," Tybalt said "Well, she was to well guarded,"
Arthur walked over to Alan. "Come on, you can't say she didn't deserve that," He whispered.

"This isn't about what she deserved Arthur. This is about what we are." Alan said as he continued on his patrol route.
***
"So she had a few zombie dinosaurs. You were able to give Arthur a headache, surely you had something that could have taken her down." Martain said passing through the sewers towards the safe house.
The second they cross through the steel doors a half dozen assault rifles and three sets of hellfire blazing fists greeted them. "What the Hell Martain? Doing that to the psycho bitch and now bringing Hathaway agents back to base?
"Nice to see you too Penny. Don't worry about Tybalt, Alan cleared him."
The Rangers and civilians lower their weapons slowly.

"We're still the good guys," Arthur insisted "This was just a ... moral lapse," ---
"... Evening," Tybalt said waving his left hand.

"Are we really? If we let ourselves lapse that far then what really makes us any better than them?" Alan asks with a loaded glare towards Arthur.
"Nothing but gangs of superhumans lording over the normal people. Maybe I've been hanging out with Larry too long but I expect heroes to be better than that."
***
"He's got weapons for the civilians and contact with the other resistance forces." Martain explained to the others.
"Start marking it up on the map."

Arthur clenched his jaw. "It's our job to save people, good people," Arthur explained "She wasn't a good person, she murdered over a thousand men, women and children, are you honestly saying that she didn't deserve that?"

"She deserved to die. I'm not arguing that fact. She did not deserve to have her limbs split open and have enough hellfire to toast a cherub forced into her soul." Alan explains.
