Conrad Harper was searching through a big box full of ancient leather bound, metal plated books. There were about 80 of these. And he was looking for one book in particular.

"Where should we start?" Aurelio asked him, heading inside.

"I suppose we should start on the oldest and work up if we're looking for Elm's notebook," Conrad said "But these aren't dated, I'm not even sure they're in any sort of order,"

Wrong Aurelio. Foss is Foundation X, this is Lucious.
"Do you have any idea what this notebook would even look like?" Aurelio asked him.

"Noooooo idea," Conrad drawled, flicking through an old brown thing and then dropping it on the floor "Presumably old, it was written on the 1600's,"

"How do we know it even survived?" Aurelio asked him.

"Because we have it," He said, examining another book and dropping it "No one told you that?"

"I don't inquire about a lot; I take orders," Aurelio told him.

"Well, we got it in the 80's I think, or the 70's, during the Cold War I think," He said looking at a book and tossing it back "Apparently it's got loads of information on Sonnet and some other stuff made by Edward Elm ... Edmund Elm, whatever it was," Conrad racked his brain to remember "Bought at auction for ... £700 from an American collector,"
He rumbled around for some other books and flipped through them, no luck. After three seconds he looked up again. "Seriously though, you just follow orders? No matter what?"

"I'm a man who follows orders; yes. Unless they go against my moral standing, then I avoid as much as I can. Made the police in Rome very angry with that," Aurelio said, "Their corruption and all; I refused to do as told for the most part, but did enough to satisfy without crossing my line of morality."

"And you think that Hathaway was a better option?" He inquired.

"As far as I can see," he answered.

Conrad decided not to mention the various nasty things that Tybalt had had him do in the name of national security. He just nodded and turned over a book. "So ... your in this because you want to be a good guy?" He asked "Not for ... I dunno, the pay or something?"

"Mostly to keep a proper moral standing, and do good work," Aurelio told him.
