Inside Stuff
Personality: Reika is a cold hearted woman with a passion for her Gaia Memory. As an undead woman, she resents her cold body. Deep down, she has a care for the soldiers in her command, and she wants only to be alive, to have heat. She acts like a mother to the younger NEVER soldiers – those who are barely more than children. However, for the others, she only shows care for the sake of having soldiers at her command, and having others who understand her and whom she understands.

History: Reika keeps her past where it should be; buried. What is known is that she was abused by her father and killed him at a young age. Over the years she lived on the streets until she eventually was killed in a bad drug deal that she had been near. Katsumi Daido took her body and brought it to Foundation X, making her into a Necro Over.

At first she was pleased with being alive, but she always hated the cold, especially after living on the streets. When she discovered she was an animate corpse, she hated Katsumi, but soon grew to respect him and was made into his second in command, one of his only successful Necro Overs. However, more started to be made, and soon they had a small army of soldiers along with a handful of younger children whom had died of diseases at their command. She took the Heat Memory for obvious reasons after she was offered Memories.

However, after a few years of working the field on her own, with Katsumi never able to join, she decided that NEVER wasn’t the hound of Foundation X to be sicked on whomever they didn’t like. She defected the organization as a whole and took all of her soldiers with her, becoming the only leader and acting as the mercenary unit should have; as mercenaries. She acts as leader only because of the deaths of Kyosui Izumi and Gozo Domoto, and Ken didn’t want leadership. The extended NEVER group didn’t have an option for leadership.

Inside Stuff
Personality: Ken is a man of few words. A confident man who enjoys playing sick games of life and death with his opponents, proclaiming “Game start,” at the start of a fight or killing, and “Game over,” when it ends and his target(s) have been gunned down brutally. He never gives up, and he never misses, being the perfect marksman. No emotions to get in his way, no thoughts other than eliminating his target.

History: Ken grew up in a household where his parents weren’t around often for his teenage years. He grew up loved, but became hardened living on his own. He became fascinated by guns when he saw a man on the street being gunned down. He began to get guns however he could, learning everything he could about them.

By age fifteen, he was working on the streets, both acting as bodyguards for the Yakuza and others of the sort, and as a performer, making impossible shots. Over the years, he joined the Yakuza properly as a killer, but was killed in a firefight two years ago.

Katsumi saw use in him and brought him in. He was revived as a Necro Over to act as third in command – second after Reika defected the group, as she moved up allowing him to move up. He showed no joy; he never showed anything. Everyone knew he was pleased to be able to be with his guns again, however. He took the Trigger Memory for obvious reasons, and struck out with Reika so he could continue to shoot.

Three shots in rapid succession from his sub-machinegun. The two soldiers fell, falling into the brush around them in this jungle. He slung the gun back over his back and drew the handgun.

"Sentries down," he said softly into a comlink, "I've secured the entrance of the facility."

More soldiers began to flood out. He drew his handgun up and in two shots dropped them. He looked around, seeing no other guards around, "We can bring the entire group in; my game is over."

  Appearance: The Fang Dopant appears to be a humanoid almost dinosaur-like beast, feral with refinement. Clawed feet, rising up to slightly spiked knees, rising up into muscular legs to a grayish colored waist, almost like a belt. He has dark blue spots along his body, mostly on the inside of his limbs. From the gray waist, he has a muscular rippled chest, dark gray in color with some blue. He has white otherwise, showing a muscular body. He has rounded, ovular shoulders with short rows of spikes coming up from them, with muscular arms coming down. His elbows have blue with spikes coming down in white, ending in hands – not claws. However, he can extend claws off of his fingers at will. He has a strong neck with a gray “V” coming down. His face appears to be like that of a mask/helmet with visor. A flat face, visored eyeline, and mouth filled with fangs, capable of opening and closing at will. Spiked ears come off the top of his head, with the ridges that are common to Double/Skull running over his face. He has a long, powerful and muscular tail with a few spikes coming off.

Inside Stuff
Personality: Ichimonji is a man who usually remains quiet, listening. He’s not a leader, he’s a follower. He has the desire to lead, but knows he isn’t the right man for the job at the time. However, he is willing to take up the position of leader, as current third in command. He’s incredibly intelligent, sly, manipulative. He likes to pit people against each other, watching the end result of struggles that he causes. He usually doesn’t like talking to people; hating to be social, hating people in general. He only became a doctor to save his own life, but being a Necro Over, that doesn’t matter anymore, so he rarely uses his medical experience, only using his combat experience gained after joining NEVER.
Strengths:

• Manipulator without remorse.

• Very, very intelligent.
  

Weaknesses:

• Being a manipulator isn’t always a good thing.

History: Ichimonji grew up in a house where both parents were doctors. From a young age, he set out to become a doctor as well. However, as they had no time for him, he grew up on his own, leading him to have problems with other children, but nobody paid him any attention. Growing up and through school, he had all the money he needed, so he never had to work, never had to do much. He became a doctor like his parents for that same reason, but also for the sake of trying to save his own life. A few years prior, he had come down with a heart disease, and he hoped he could save himself with his great intelligence.

At age 25, he died. Katsumi’s mother found him and brought him with her so she could use him as spare parts and as testing, like the other future members of NEVER. However, when the project was successful, Ichimonji was revived. However, he wasn’t one of the main five members, as he never wanted to be a part of the group. He went on with his own life, but after Katsumi was recruited into an actual member of Foundation X, and the organization started to expand with their research money, Ichimonji rejoined, becoming one of the proper members of NEVER. When Reika became second in command due to deaths in the field, Ichimonji became third in command, against his will, serving with the now disbanded NEVER, still as third even though Reika is now in command.

He continued to walk, being unfazed by the bullets piercing his flesh. He stopped every so often when the shock of the hit was too much, but he moved as long as he could. He drew his handgun and fired on one soldier, dropping him.

The other soldiers shot him continually. He lost his grip on his weapon, taking more bullets. His jacket was torn apart, and he didn't appreciate that. He didn't appreciate this mission. But he had to do it.

He drew his Memory and clicked it, "Fang"

He threw it out, watching it float back into the hollow of his throat. He raced forward, ripping through them with great ease, looking at the torn, bloodied corpses at his feet. He undid his transformation and continued to walk on.

  Appearance: The Joker Dopant appears in black and violet colors. He has feet that look like the shoes of a jester, with slightly curled up toes, with the insides of the curls being purple, the rest being black. At his knees, there’s a reverse “V” in his form, with the point ending at the bottom of his knee. The outline of the “V” is violet on each leg, while the rest is black. From his waist he has “capes” coming down on each side of his waist, stopping just above his knees, outlined in violet. His chest is muscular and defined in a violet outline, with the muscles even outlined in violet. His right shoulder has a horn emerging and curling up from it, in black, while his arm is completely violet, muscular, but humanoid, nothing wrong with it – no claws, projections, anything. His left arm is normal, but it’s black instead. No horn from the shoulder, and again, nothing on the arm to make it stand out. The head has a black neck with a violet “V” line around the neckline. The face is ovular, rising upwards. The mouth has a silver plate covering it, while the nose and face are a pale color. Eyes burning violet. The rest of the head is black, with two pointed and ragged ears like a dog’s rising up off of the top of his head.

Inside Stuff
Personality: Kai is a man who knows what he wants, and knows how to get it. He’s a simple person, doing what he wants to get what he wants. He doesn’t have problems with authority or taking orders, that being said. He likes being a follower, but only follows if allowed to go off solo to do what he wants to when the time comes. This is usually stealing things, as he has an attraction to gems and precious stones, though he never wears them. He always crushes them when he gets them. He’ll go out of his way to steal them from people while working, even if being shot at the same time. He doesn’t talk about his past to anyone, and never forms friendships. He keeps rather quiet and professional aside from his thieving tendencies, however. In and out of Dopant form, he’s the most skilled member NEVER has in direct hand-to-hand combat, even above Reika. That being said, he hates firearms, despite being forced to use them.
Strengths:

• Never scheming from another angle; he’s what he is.

History: Kai was born average, and went on living an average, uneventful life for a long time. When he was 17, he fell in love with a woman named Sakura. He did anything for Sakura, all in hopes she would notice him. She did, but only to take advantage of him, which he never noticed. However, after three years of being used, he came to realize this, but by this time, she had in turn fallen for him.

The two were happy for about another year, until both of them were in a car accident. Kai died, but was revived as a NEVER by Katsumi Daidou. He rushed away from the labs to check on Sakura in a hospital, finding that she was barely hanging on. He tried to convince Katsumi to save her, but he wouldn’t, for two reasons, neither of which Kai believed: 1. She was too damaged, and 2. She had no reason for joining NEVER; nothing to contribute, while Kai had his combat experience from all of his days of practicing in his youth.

Kai resented Katsumi for the longest time, always stealing gems and stones when he could, crushing them, as they were Sakura’s favorites, and things he would always buy for her. He didn’t want to have to see them if she was dead; he crushed them to remove them from his own sight, and to send them to Sakura. When offered a Gaia Memory, he forwent Jewel and went with Joker instead.

When Reika disbanded NEVER from Foundation X, Kai kept with them, seeing no point in leaving. He has no position of authority in the unit, but always acts as just a straight up fighter as a mercenary.

Sample RP:

He choked the soldier to the ground as the Joker Dopant. He continued to crush, feeling little satisfaction yet.

When he heard the man choking no more, he released his grip and bent down again, taking his dogtags. They may not have been jewels, but he didn't care. To a soldier, the dogtag was the equivalent, or so Kai always figured. He crushed it in his grip, returning to normal.

"Not enough. Not yet," he said softly to himself, looking back at the path of destruction he had caused as a Dopant. The soldiers had stood no chance. Bullets didn't work; his melee was too powerful, and theirs too weak.

He was also a man driven on to kill, to win these fights and strip these men of their beloved dogtags. He turned back and drew his Joker Memory again, inserting it straight to his chest rather than throw it out this time, rushing off again.

Plenty more enemies were ahead. Plenty more tags for him to crush.

Kaisu; where they got their Memories is going to be resolved in backstory in a Flashback thread, which includes Katsumi working for Foundation X at the end. The gist of it is; Foundation X and whoever was making Memories a few years back is where they got them from. Clarke, Museum, whatever works in the timeline.

Though Fang and Joker came from Clarke, most likely, since they weren't around in that flashback.
